Care & Support Worker (Domiciliary Care)

Gaia Home Care Ltd is a Barnsley-based home care provider supporting people to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes. We're looking for caring, reliable and compassionate individuals to join our growing team.
No previous care experience is required – if you have the right values and a willingness to learn, we'll provide all the training and qualifications you need to begin your career in care.
Your role may include:
- Personal care
- Companionship and social support
- Meal preparation
- Supporting people living with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Helping people maintain their independence and wellbeing
- Light household support where required
What we offer:
- £13.25 per hour, including travel time between care visits
- 45p per mile when using your own vehicle for work
- Full paid training and recognised qualifications

What we're looking for:
We're looking for people who are kind, dependable and respectful. Good communication skills and a genuine desire to help others are essential.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle are beneficial, as you'll be travelling between clients' homes.
