GWD were commissioned to supply and install a range of iSteel ‘Slim’ Internal Steel Door Sets for a commercial office project in Manchester.

The installation comprises single doors with fixed side panels across the basement, ground, first and second floors, finished in RAL9005 Textured Black to create a consistent, contemporary industrial aesthetic throughout the building.

The project incorporates both E30 Fire-Rated and Non-Fire-Rated Systems, combining clear glazing with solid aluminium panels within selected non-fire-rated meeting room and video booth doors to provide privacy where required.

We surveyed, supplied and installed bespoke glass partitions across two floors of this Tynemouth home, defining separate spaces while preserving natural light.

On the ground floor, black industrial design glazing creates a striking entrance to the living area. Upstairs, clear glazing with discreet black dry joints provides a clean, minimal finish alongside the existing timber balustrade.

Both installations feature full-height toughened glass doors, slimline black aluminium frames, black Guardsman handles and self-closing hinges, creating a coordinated finish throughout the home.

Following the successful completion of a previous project at Barnsley College, Glass Walls and Doors were once again appointed to deliver a bespoke glazing solution for the college.

The latest installation comprised bespoke steel doors and fixed glazed screens, designed to provide a practical and contemporary solution while complementing the surrounding space. The combination of steel-framed doors and fixed glazing allows natural light to flow through the area, creating an open and welcoming environment while maintaining a clear separation between spaces.

The project demonstrates our continued work with Barnsley College, delivering bespoke steel and glazed solutions tailored to the requirements of each individual space.

GWD was appointed to deliver a bespoke fire-rated glazing solution for a commercial project in Wakefield, providing a combination of functionality, safety and modern aesthetics.

The project included the installation of FRST E30 and FRST E60 fire-rated glazed windows, providing 30 and 60 minute fire resistance where required. The systems were designed to integrate seamlessly into the commercial environment while maintaining clear sightlines and allowing natural light to pass between areas.

The finished installation features clean, contemporary framing finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, complementing the surrounding industrial-style interior. GWD were appointed to design, supply and install a series of glazed screens for a commercial flooring showroom in Carlisle, creating modern, open-plan spaces while maintaining the required level of safety and performance.

The project incorporated single-glazed screens using 13.5mm toughened laminated glass, designed to achieve a 0.74kN horizontal line load. This provided the required level of impact resistance and structural performance for the commercial environment.

The objective was to create modern, functional meeting rooms that maximise natural light while providing the necessary levels of acoustic privacy and fire protection.

The project incorporated our single glazed acoustic partitioning system with a single acoustic glazed door, creating a bright and professional meeting space with excellent sound insulation. The slim black aluminium framework provides a contemporary steel-look finish that complements the office's premium interior design.

To meet the building's fire safety requirements, we also installed our FRST EI30 fire-rated glazed door system. Offering 30 minutes of fire integrity and insulation, the system delivers certified fire protection while maintaining the same sleek aesthetic as the acoustic glazing, ensuring a consistent finish throughout the office.
