A steady couple of weeks, the dogs have done so well with the heat.
They were rested more than normal, not worked at all if the heat became too much and we checked the pavement temperature constantly not allowing them to even walk to a search area if it was too hot.
Not worth the risk!
We did invest in a large silver heat reflective blanket for the van which reduced the temperature by at at least 10 degrees plus inside, so with that and the water misting fans and air con the dogs were kept comfortable and cool.๐
We did try boots on one of the dogs , as you can see it went really well!! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
