Unfortunately, we’re going to have to close at 2pm today due to an appointment with our son.

We know it’s a little last minute and we’re really sorry to anyone who was planning on popping in later today.

Autumn has arrived at Blackrod Emporium! 🍂🧡

Emily has completed our new autumn window display, filled with balloons, pumpkins, leaves and all the warm, cosy colours of the season 🎃

We’re so pleased with how it’s all come together!

Who says a hardware shop can’t be pretty? One window makeover at a time 🎃🧡

🍂 Something autumnal is taking over our window… 👀🧡

Emily’s been busy today giving the shop window a seasonal makeover, and if you’ve passed us you might have already caught a little glimpse! 🎃

We’re keeping the full thing under wraps for now while the finishing touches are added… but we can’t wait to reveal it properly tomorrow! 🍁✨

We’ll be closing early at 4:30pm today while we make a balloon wholesaler run to get stocked up ready for some special occasions this weekend 🎈✨

We’re back! 🖤

After a lovely weekend off celebrating Emily’s birthday, we’re back to normal opening hours this week 🙌

A big thank you for your patience and understanding while we were closed ,and as always thank you for continuing to support our little local shop. It really does mean a lot to us. 🖤

The doors are back open, the shelves are full and we’re ready for another week at Blackrod Emporium!

From a jumble sale of tubs… to organised chaos 😂🙌

We knew this little homeware section wasn’t the easiest to shop — plenty in the tubs, but finding what you actually wanted was another story! 👀

So we’ve got as much as we can out, hung up and clearly on show.

It’s not perfect, and there’s definitely still plenty squeezed in 😂 but hopefully it’s now much easier to see what we stock and find what you’re looking for.

Organised chaos… we’ll take it! 🖤
