MEET THE BUSINESS MONDAY | Meet James Gordon owner of Harry’s Group!

This week we’re meeting James, the local businessman behind three very different Bournemouth venues - each bringing something different to the town centre.

BOMO House – from drinks on the terrace to private parties, celebrations and events, BOMO is a beautiful space made for getting people together.

Harry’s Lounge – live sport, pool, darts, drinks and music. Whether it’s the big match or a few games with mates, Harry’s is all about good times and a bit of friendly competition.

Bar Coast – when daytime turns into nighttime. Think late-night drinks, DJs, dancing and big Bournemouth nights out.

Three venues. Three different experiences. One independent local group with something for just about every occasion.

We love getting to know the people behind our town centre businesses – and James and his teams are a brilliant example of the people helping make Bournemouth a place to meet, socialise, celebrate and enjoy.

📅 September in Bournemouth is looking GOOD!

From live entertainment and comedy to sport, wellness, shopping and one of Bournemouth’s biggest cultural celebrations, there are plenty of reasons to head into the town centre this month.

Heading to a show at Bournemouth Pavilion? Make a night of it! Arrive early and explore the independent shops around Westover Road, stop for pre-theatre dinner at Côte, The Stable or one of the many restaurants nearby, or keep the evening going with post-show drinks in town.

🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Bournemouth International Triathlon hits West Cliff on 13 September. Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, why not refuel afterwards with breakfast, brunch or lunch in town, grab a well-earned coffee, or stay and explore the shops?

🛍️ On Sat 19 September, Ivory Avenue celebrates its official opening and autumn launch - a perfect excuse to discover one of Bournemouth’s newest independents while you’re in town.

And we’re ending the month in spectacular style with Arts by the Sea, bringing free performances, installations and entertainment to Bournemouth Gardens and the town centre on 25–26 September.

✨ MEET THE BUSINESS MONDAY: IVORY AVENUE ✨

This week we’re introducing you to Jess, owner of one of Bournemouth Town Centre’s newest independent businesses – Ivory Avenue.

Ivory Avenue softly opened its doors in June and, if the beautiful shopfront has already caught your eye, wait until you step inside…

The store is filled with a carefully selected range of furniture, homeware, lighting, accessories and beautiful finishing touches – with lots of new pieces arriving for autumn. 🍂

But Ivory Avenue is much more than a beautiful interiors shop.

Jess can also offer design advice and help source furniture for particular spaces and requirements, so if you know what you want but can’t quite find it, it’s well worth popping in for a chat.

And there’s a VERY good reason to visit this month…
