Another week at BNI Belle Vue, with Rogers from ABS Computer Systems Ltd taking centre stage for our Feature Presentation. From business IT support to Cyber Essentials, Scott put the focus on keeping our businesses running smoothly and taking cyber security seriously. 💻

⚡ Ross Singleton from Electrical powered up the Education Slot with “The Power Hour”. Trust an electrician to get the room switched on.

🔦 Bradley Carter from Financial Advisors Ltd stepped into this week’s Member Spotlight—a chance to get to know the man behind the financial advice. Time well invested, naturally.

🏆 Ross also scooped Presentation of the Week! Education delivered, trophy collected. We’ll have to check whether his van has room for the ego on the journey home. 😉

When life poos on you from a great height, perspective is everything. 💩☀️

That was the wonderfully visual lesson from Tanya Bunting in this week’s Education Slot, looking at the power of a positive outlook. You can’t always control what drops out of the sky, but you can control what you do next. 🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♂️

📱 Our Feature Presentation came from Rodrigues of Page Mortgages, with “Who’s in Your Phone?” and a look at how mortgage opportunities can appear in everyday conversations. And even when the obvious route to a mortgage looks closed, there are often other avenues worth exploring. It pays to know who to call. 🏡

💻 Avey from ABS Computer Systems Ltd returned for another Member Spotlight, giving us another look behind the scenes at ABS and the expertise keeping businesses connected, protected and functioning without the sort of technological drama nobody needs before breakfast. 💻 🍳

🏆 Our fearless leader Libby Herbert took Presentation of the Week, while J Whapples of design & build was crowned Networker of the Month for August.

Very well deserved, and the photo chosen for his award slide deserves recognition of its own...😂 🍰 🏛️

💷 Smart smashed the August figures for Most TYFTB, with £8,150 of business passed. 🫧

👋 We were also delighted to welcome Hall from Bridges Sales Co. as our guest, and Rogers, our Director Consultant, dropped in to join us for the morning.

To brand, or not to brand? Martin had the answer. 🎨

This week’s Feature Presentation came from Martin Sloyan - BA (Hons) of Graphic Designer, who gave the room a sharp look at how strong branding builds trust before a conversation even begins. From first impressions to visual consistency, Martin showed why good design is not just decoration, it is business strategy with better shoes. 👏

We also had an insightful Education Slot from Bradley Carter , breaking down government bonds and giving the room a clearer understanding of how they work. Because apparently money can be confusing even when it is trying to be sensible. 📈

A big congratulations to Ross Singleton from Electrical, who was officially awarded his Networker of the Month certificate after another brilliant month of activity, referrals and contribution. ⚡

Another brilliant morning at BNI Belle Vue, where the room was full, the conversations were flowing, and the value of strong local relationships was very much on display.

This week’s Education Slot came from Rogers from Computer Systems, who gave the room a clearer understanding of the different types of internet connections, who actually owns the lines, and why broadband speed can vary so much from provider to provider. 🛜

Useful, practical, and a reminder that not all “fast internet” is created equal. 🌐

Scott also stepped into the Business Spotlight, giving us a closer look at ABS Computer Systems Ltd, their approach, and how they help businesses stay connected, secure and running properly. 💻 ⌨️

Every good network deserves a Mulligan. ⛳️

This week, BNI Belle Vue stepped away from the meeting room and onto the green at Bournemouth for a social evening built around the thing that makes networking actually work: relationships.

Because referrals don’t come from business cards alone. They come from trust, familiarity, shared conversations, and occasionally watching someone completely bottle a simple putt under neon lighting...

A brilliant evening of food, drinks, mini golf and proper connection between members, guests and friends of the chapter.

A huge thank you to Rodrigues for organising the night and bringing everyone together. Was a belter. 🔥

It was a reminder that the strongest business relationships are often built outside the formal meeting, when people get the chance to relax, talk properly and know each other. (Fuelled by pints⛽🍻)

This week, Grimes from Wishbone Productions delivered the education slot, giving the room a practical reminder on the importance of keeping visible online. 📱 🦴 👀

We also welcomed Katy Oxley into the chapter with a suitably ceremonial induction.

𝐁𝐍𝐈 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐕𝐮𝐞 – 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐩

Another fantastic meeting this week at BNI Belle Vue, with some brilliant insights, strong referrals, and plenty of energy in the room.

🎓 Education Slot – This week’s education was delivered by Stuart from My Property Pros Bournemouth with the thought-provoking topic: “Your Business Smells.” Using a clever analogy, Stuart explained that every business gives off a “scent” through its branding, messaging, and reputation and the key question is: what do you want your business to be known for? Some standout takeaways included the importance of consistency in branding, becoming famous for one thing, and instead of simply explaining what you do, start painting pictures that people remember. A really engaging and memorable session.

🏆 Notable Networker of the Month – Congratulations again to ABS Computers, represented by James, as our Notable Networker for April. Last month alone they generated over £13,000 worth of referred business, alongside 6 referrals and 3 one-to-ones, a fantastic contribution to the chapter and a brilliant example of Givers Gain in action.

⏱️ 60-Second Winner – Well done to Thomas from Wishbone Productions who won this week’s 60 seconds while presenting on behalf of Bradley. Every couple of weeks we’ve been mixing things up by delivering each other’s 60 seconds following one-to-ones, and Thomas did a fantastic job representing Bradley’s business and communicating his services clearly and confidently.

⭐ Feature Presentation – This week’s presentation was delivered by Tanya from Tanya Bunting Coaching, Hypnosis & NLP Training who explained how she helps people overcome fears, break through limiting beliefs, and rewire their thinking to achieve their goals. Through coaching and NLP techniques, Tanya supports clients in building confidence, clarity, and positive change both personally and professionally.
