🌱 On Monday, we were delighted to welcome Councillor Glyn Preston, Cabinet Member for a More Prosperous Powys, County Councillor Adam Kennerley (Newtown North) and County Councillor William Powell (Talgarth) here to GP Biotec Ltd to see our farm diversification scheme.

It was great to show them what we’re working on and discuss the potential for affordable, low-carbon energy to benefit our local communities.

As Councillor Glyn Preston said, it was “fantastic to see such an interesting and innovative farm diversification scheme”.

Thank you all for taking the time to visit and learn more about what we’re doing at GP Biotec!

Last week, the team at GP Biotec had the pleasure of visiting Archdeacon Griffiths C.I.W. Primary School to talk to the children about what we do and how our AD site works. 🌱

It was great to spend time with the pupils and give them an insight into anaerobic digestion, renewable energy and what happens on site. The children had lots of great questions and were really interested in finding out more about how everything works.

We were also very kindly given a thank-you card filled with handwritten messages from the children. 💚 It was such a lovely gesture and really appreciated by the whole team.

A big thank you to everyone at Archdeacon Griffiths C.I.W. Primary School for having us and to the children for being such a great audience — and for the lovely card!

We really enjoyed the visit and hope to see you again in the future. 👏

It’s been a busy few weeks here on the farm, and thanks to the fantastic weather, we’ve had a great early cut of grass silage! 🌱☀️

All of the grass silage grown on site is carefully clamped in our silage pits, helping to preserve valuable feedstock for the winter months ahead and supporting the ongoing operation of our AD site.

Update from Great Porthamel Gate House🏡

Great progress on the gatehouse restoration! The roof has now been sealed and the parapet has been rebuilt and pointed. 🛠

Guttering will be going on soon, followed by reinstating the original tiles to keep the building in line with its character and heritage. We are looking forward to seeing it all come together 👌

We’ve recently completed our Annual Emissions Testing on site as part of our ongoing compliance with our environmental permit and emissions monitoring requirements.

Here at GP Biotec, we’re committed to continually improving our site performance and doing our part to protect the environment 🌱

A huge thank you to Cura Terrae and GenV Limited for their continued support and the excellent work carried out during the monitoring – we highly recommend their services! 👏
