International Women's Day is on Wednesday.

What better way to start the week than an all female line up on The Business Show.

Shrove Tuesday is a Christian festival celebrated in many countries across the globe. It falls today, on the Tuesday before the beginning of Lent – a period of around six weeks leading up to Easter. During Lent, Christians give up luxuries to remember when Jesus went into the desert for 40 days to fast and pray.

Today, many know it as pancake day. Traditionally during Lent, Christians would give up rich foods such as butter, eggs, sugar and fat (some Christians continue to do so, in fact). Shrove Tuesday was the last chance to eat them – and what better way to do so than with a delicious pancake!

Today, people continue to whisk up these treats and pancake tossing has become a household tradition. This leads me on to our theme for this month - scheduling. What would you “toss” out of your weekly schedule for 40 days? Some people may give up a bad habit or take on a positive new practice during these 40 days. Let me know what you decide…

A £60k kitchen for £6k, finance for growing a business, and the impact of drones for business.

It's a real stellar line up today for The Business Show on Steel FM at 10am today.

Kicking us off this morning is Anthony Green from Fastsigns. Anthony talks about everything sign-related - your business name above your premises, your cars, your lorries. Everything. The one thing that is now becoming much more mainstream is 'wrapping' kitchens - and Anthony talks us through a kitchen that was quoted at £60k for a new one, when wrapping the same kitchen came in at 10% of that price - and it looks stunning.

Herself and her husband, Ed, own Invoice Finance Solutions and Belinda talks us through how she got into finance and how the property market has become a real tour-de-force for her and Ed. A chat with Belinda would never be complete without mentioning horses ! And they feature this morning.

Clsoing today's show, and definitely not 'droning on' is Martin Twigg - owner of IProSurve Martin Twigg. IProSurve are drone data capture experts and analytical experts from that data. From a distinguished career in the police force which involved being one of their foremost drone pilots, Martin talks us through how the transition into owning a full-time drone operation business came about.

Daily scheduling is a way to keep you on track with the activities that lead to success. Coming into the office with the intention of getting as much done as possible leaves no way to determine if you are using your time wisely. It is easy to be distracted by impromptu phone calls and meetings when you don't block and schedule your time.

For example, you may hold client meetings every morning before lunch and block out time every afternoon for team meetings, administrative tasks, and marketing efforts.

Scheduling keeps you on track every day to do what it takes to keep revenues flowing and the team on course to fill the pipeline for more sales.

The legend that is Anne Tate joins us on the Business Show this morning on Steel FM.

Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce members will need no introduction to Anne, a stalwart of the chamber for many years, and a massive driving force behind the annual North Lincs Business awards. This morning we chat through exactly what is involved in these brilliant awards - and just how much effort goes into the actual awards evening itself. It's a fascinating insight into how everything gets pulled together - and also a clarion call for any businesses thinking about entering this year's awards.

To back up all of what Anne talks about, we then talk to two of last year's winners. Jason Threadgold of Jason Threadgold Funeral Directors and Bailey Greetham Clark from Be Great Fitness talk us through exactly what it was like to win on the night and the exposure for their businesses on the back of that night.
