At mustard, we focus on building a strong team culture, inclusive, welcoming, and friendly. We work hard, but know how to have fun, especially on our regular team building days and lunch clubs.

As a B-Corp we provide volunteering and fundraising opportunities, and we aim to be leaders of the sector for our sustainability initiatives.

🌈 Review your policies, ensure your policies include anti-harassment cover sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.

🌈 Review health, parental leave, family, and bereavement benefits to make sure they apply equitably to LGBTQ+ employees and their families.

🌈 Culture can make a huge impact on how valued staff feel, small incremental changes can make a difference, even if it's just adding pronouns to the bottom of your email to get started.

🌈 Training managers and leaders on inclusive leadership, unconscious bias, and how to respond to inappropriate behavior.

🌈 Ensure your recruitment process is using inclusive language! At mustard, we use gender bias decoders on our job ads to ensure this.

Having joined us as an Apprentice 12 months ago, Grace has learned a lot about the recruitment industry whilst getting qualified and has flourished within in the role.

She has been a brilliant addition to the team, supporting us in contract administration and lead generation.
