Our Cambridge Wellness Festival is happening tomorrow, Tues 8 September!

We’ll be on The Green, opposite Cambridge South Railway Station. If you’re not sure where to go, just follow the arrows! 👣

There’ll be lots to see and do, with activities, stalls and advice on different ways to support your wellbeing.

Entry and all activities are free, and no booking is needed. Just drop in whenever you can.

We’re bringing music and bingo together next Wednesday 9 September from 5.30–7.30pm at The Hub on Campus.

Test your music knowledge, listen out for your favourite songs and see if you can be the first to call “Bingo!”

There’ll be prizes for the winners and tickets are just £5, with all profits donated to Maggie's Centres.

Join us at our quarterly Open Forum on Monday 21st September (5.30-7pm), inviting the public to hear the latest news in life science, innovation and research on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC).

Speakers include Eilish Midlaine, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Papworth Hospital, the team from Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust and Prologis, who are developing Discovery Drive on Campus.

The Cambridge Wellness Festival is almost here, with a great mix of organisations joining us from across the campus and wider community.

It’s a chance to take some time for yourself, connect with others and find out more about different ways to support your wellbeing.

Royal Papworth Hospital will be running guided meditation sessions and Lucy Hall Massage Therapist will be providing complimentary 7–10-minute chair massages.

Cambridge Women’s Health will be there to share advice around perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

The Breast Screening Programme will have information about breast screening and a breast awareness model demonstrating signs and symptoms to look out for.

Outspoken Cycles will be bringing their smoothie bikes and Russ Daff Comics will be showcasing his children’s graphic novel about emotional wellbeing and offering live drawing.

Entry and all activities are free, and there’s no need to book — just drop in whenever you can.

Please note that September’s Games Club has moved from Monday 21 September to Monday 14 September.

The club will still run from 5–8pm at The Hub on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

We’ll have Catan, 7 Wonders, Wingspan, Ticket to Ride, Codenames, Terraforming Mars and Bananagrams. Feel free to bring your own games too!

If you’re interested in tabletop strategy games like Warhammer, we can also accommodate, just email us beforehand at [email protected].

You'll hear from Dr Saeed Fathi, PhD, Chief Technology Officer and Investor at NeoGenix Biosciences pty ltd.

There will also be an opportunity to network with others in the healthcare and innovation sectors after the talk. Free pastries and hot drinks will be provided. 🥐☕️

Dr Cristina Hickman, a Clinical Scientist and global leader in fertility, will be chairing the session.

A fun twist on the classic game, Music Bingo replaces numbers with popular songs and artists.

Listen to short music clips, mark off the tracks on your card, and see if you can be the first to complete a winning pattern and call “Bingo!” There’ll be fantastic prizes for the winners too.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to The Green on Campus for a day of health and wellbeing.

Take part in yoga or Tai Chi, relax with a sound bath, learn something new through talks and workshops, explore women’s health sessions and find out about different ways to support your wellbeing. You can also meet Pets as Therapy dogs.
