Please join me in welcoming Em Haque to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)!
Em brings a wealth of and experience, having previously operated as a Master Franchisee within the Subway network. His understanding of business operations, customer service and problem-solving makes him a fantastic addition to our community.
Today, Em is the owner of The Leak Detective - Kent, - specialising in the detection and location of hidden in both and properties. Using specialist, non-invasive techniques, he helps identify leaks quickly and accurately, minimising disruption and unnecessary damage. Services include water leak detection, pipe location, central heating leak detection, commercial property leak investigations and insurance trace-and-access support.
What particularly impressed me is the value this service offers for:

✅ Buildings where previous repairs may not have integrated correctly with existing systems

Do you switch- off from Business at the weekend?

One of the best parts of the weekend for me, is stepping away from the laptop for a while and getting some fresh air. It's good for my mental health, and for getting a new perspective on things, spending time with Family.
For me, that usually means a walk with Biskit 🐾
Running a business- and helping other businesses grow - is incredibly rewarding, but like many entrepreneurs, I find that a good walk clears the mind and resets the week ahead.
It’s often when the best ideas arrive.
Next week is shaping up to be a busy one as I prepare for the Kent Business Show on 19 March, where I’ll be on Stand 102 representing the Federatiin of Small Businesses.
If you’re attending, please do come and say hello- I always enjoy meeting fellow business owners.
But for now…
Biskit has clearly decided that paddling is the priority today.
