➡️ Sale of Prime and Store Lambs & Hoggets, Cull Ewes, Beef Cattle and Barren Cows

🐑 Trade has held this week across most centres with number appearing to be shorter nationally. Best quality lambs anticipated to trade around 330-350p/kg. A good entry required but meat being essential on all weights. Handyweight and lightweight lambs the easiest to place, heavier lambs harder work.

Store lambs a remarkable trade and worth considering selling. Good entries required with good buying demand currently.

Cull Ewes continue to be a good trade. Good numbers needed again for tomorrow’s sale.

🐄 A good entry of prime cattle and Barren Cows required. All breeds, ages and types saleable at Cirencester Livestock Market.

➡️ Another brilliant entry, with 175x store cattle forward, selling to another good trade being similar on the week.

💥 13x Store Cattle over £2,000 per head
💥 58x Store Cattle over £1,800 per head
💥 17x Store Cattle over 400p/kg
💥 Overall average £1,537 or 340p/kg

🏅 Top price per head being £2,530 (351p/kg) for a Charolais X Heifer (31 months) from S Coates.

🏅 Top price per kg going a pair of Hereford X Steers (8 months) selling at 458p/kg (£710) from T W Dyer.

🐄 Steers (107) to £2,250 or 458p/kg, Average £1,555 (351p/kg)
🐄 Heifers (67) to £2,530 or 414p/kg, Average £1,498 (325p/kg)
