Route 66, also known as the ‘Mother Road, was established in 1926 and stretched for around 2,448 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica. It’s possibly the most famous highway in the US and, while you can’t drive the full length of the original route, many segments are still accessible and waiting for you to explore and experience. 🤩
