🏗️ PROJECT COMPLETED | STRATFORD-UPON-AVON

A look back at a recently completed project in Stratford-upon-Avon, where the TDJ Civils team carried out the groundworks and external works for a new-build bungalow/apartment extension to an existing care home.

The project involved:

🚧 Demolition of the existing building
🏗️ Excavation and construction of new foundations
🔩 Underpinning and dowel bar work to the existing footings
🌳 Heave protection installed where required due to nearby trees
🧱 Block-and-beam floor with brickwork brought up to DPC
💧 New drainage installed and connected into the existing system
🚶 New access path to the extension
🌱 Ground preparation and freshly laid turf to finish the external areas

From demolition and foundations through to drainage, access and the final landscaping, it’s great to see the transformation from start to finish.

A big transformation on this one. Groundworks and preparation carried out before finishing with a new tarmac surface and block edging.

Out with the old and in with the new! 🔧

A recent project where we ripped out the failing drainage system and installed a brand-new ACO slot drain system, tying it into the existing drainage.

A much cleaner finish and, most importantly, a drainage system that does the job properly. 💪

This one tested us from day one. Unexpected gas mains and high-pressure water mains could’ve brought the job to a standstill, but the team kept pushing forward and working through every challenge safely and efficiently.
