📢𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 – 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬📢

We're seeking employers who can support participants on our FREE 4-week employability programme by providing a 2-week work placement opportunity.

The programme is designed for adults aged 21+ and aims to support participants in developing key workplace and customer service skills through:

• Level 2 qualifications in Employability Skills & Customer Service
• 2 weeks’ training at NWRC followed by a 2-week work placement

A special thank you to all of the students and leading community and healthcare organisations who joined us yesterday for our Open Student Employers Fair at the Strand Road Campus, delivered as part of the Men Into Healthcare Programme funded by the Department for the Economy NI through the Inclusive Futures programme.

Hear from Alan O’Connell who undertook a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People course (awarded by CPCAB)

Alan chose to return to education after 30 years to progress his career in counselling and gain a university-level qualification on his doorstep.

He was able to upskill without giving up any of his current work and family commitments by studying part time at North West Regional College just one evening per week!

Congratulations to everyone who successfully completed the Men Into Healthcare Programme last week.

This 12-week programme helped participants work towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification and aimed to break down barriers and increase diversity in the healthcare sector.

Well done to all involved and we wish you every success for the future! ✨
