Mid-August already, and while summer may be flying by, there’s definitely no slowing down at BNI!

This week gave us another great opportunity to connect, share referrals and support each other’s businesses, but we’ve also been investing in something equally important: leadership.

Following our Leaders Development Forum, one message really stood out:

Great networks don’t just happen. Great people build them.
Leadership is about more than having a title.

It’s about showing up, listening, encouraging others, taking responsibility and helping the people around you succeed.

That’s very much the spirit of BNI and Givers Gain.

We’re heading into the second half of August with new ideas, stronger connections and plenty of energy for what comes next.

Here’s to developing better leaders, stronger businesses and an even stronger BNI community!

What a fantastic way to close out July!

A month full of referrals, new connections, business growth, and members supporting one another.

Every meeting reminded us why being part of BNI is about so much more than networking, it's about building relationships that help businesses thrive.

As we step into August, we do so with fresh goals, renewed energy, and even more opportunities ahead.

This week's meeting was another reminder that the strongest businesses aren't built during their busiest weeks, they're built through consistency.

Showing up.
Supporting one another.
Making introductions.
Following up.
Keeping promises.

Every conversation has the potential to become a referral.
Every referral has the potential to become a lasting business relationship.

Summer is in full swing, and with it comes festivals, community events, business expos, networking breakfasts, and opportunities to meet new people

The best opportunities don't always happen in the meeting room, they often begin with a simple conversation at an coffee

That's why it's fantastic to see members of our BNI chapter getting involved beyond our weekly Thursday meetings, in social events and other business gatherings representing BNI

A huge congratulations to two of our new members, who continue to build relationships, create opportunities, and showcase the incredible businesses we have within our network

At BNI, we don't just network for ourselves, we proudly support one another wherever we go

While most people are talking about the heatwave, holidays, and BBQs...

Business owners are still showing up.

Last Thursday, our BNI chapter was packed with energy, conversations, referrals, guests and people looking for ways to support each other's businesses.

It reminded me that success isn't built in one big moment.

It's built in the small things:

- Showing up when you said you would.
- Following up on introductions.
- Helping others without expecting anything in return.
- Building relationships before you need them.

As we head into summer, many businesses naturally slow down.

The businesses that continue networking, building relationships, and staying visible are often the ones that come back strongest in September.
