Our MD John has Simply been over in Denmark at the Time to Care - Changing Care 2026 forum hosted by Guldmann this week, taking the scenic route to travel there on his motorbike! It’s been a great honour for him to be invited to attend by the team at Guldmann, as participants have been carefully selected based on their commitment and forward-thinking approach to advancing healthcare. Based in the beautiful Danish setting of Hindsgavl Castle, the forum has been designed as a unique platform to expand professional networks, exchange knowledge and listen to inspirational speakers across the healthcare sector.

We look forward to hearing all about it on his return and wish him safe travels home!

Simply welcome to our two newest members of staff in the Simply Elland Office - Aaliyah & Nikki.

Aaliyah joins the Installation Team to support our Assessors, Installation Team and Customers during installation projects. She has previous administration, customer service and sales experience and is keen to get stuck into her new and varied role. Her kind and caring nature is already shining through as she meets our customers on the phone and we are loving her extensive stationary collection which helps keep her organised and on track! She loves crafting and spending time with her little dog Daisy, who I’m sure will be making an appearance in the office if we can get our paws on her!

Nikki joins the Customer Service Team to support our Customers and Engineers with servicing, repairs and general enquiries. She has a wealth of experience working in the care sector and in demanding diary scheduling. She’s super bubbly and friendly, and has picked up the booking process in no time. She’s truly hit the ground running and already feels like part of the Simply family, like she’s been with us for years. Nikki is also a top-level bowls player in her spare time and we look forward to cheering her on in her upcoming matches and tournaments this year!

This week our Assessor Ross Marden teamed up with Nicola from Ropox to deliver an engaging Product Awareness Session for a team of North West OTs.

The session included demonstrations of Guldmann slings alongside Ropox bathing solutions. Showcasing practical, person-centred approaches to bathing and transfers.

Ropox continue to lead the way in easy height-adjustment, offering both manual and electric options across their full range. Their products pair seamlessly with the Guldmann hoist and sling range to create affordable, adaptable solutions focused on comfort, dignity, and independence.
