We’re pleased to be opening applications for a Live Event Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship at Liteup, starting in September 2026.

The role will give the right candidate hands-on experience across the technical side of live events, including lighting, sound, video, staging, warehouse preparation and on-site delivery.

This would suit someone aged 18+ who is practical, reliable, keen to learn and interested in building a career in live event production.

The Bank Holiday Weekend saw the official opening of the .experience at . Liteup are delighted to have provided Production Management, Production Rigging, Lighting, Audio and Video elements for the entire experience. Consisting of over 200 Flat Pro's and W600's, a bunch of Aura XIP's, some .it Astra Hybrid 330's, control via network backbone and onPC, along with over 70 Q8 Speakers, and a large quantity of LED Displays, we're incredibly proud of the result! Huge congratulations to Saskia who has completed her Live Event Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship passing with a distinction!

We are delighted to say Saskia has continued her career with Liteup post apprenticeship and now joins our production services team and we are delighted to have her.

As part of her course Saskia has worked with us on many shows developing her skills and we cant wait to see what the future brings.

We are welcoming more apprentices with 2 places available to start in September 2026 - if you are interested please get in touch at [email protected]

Geely Starray EM-i Launch

We were delighted to deliver the lighting for the launch of the new Geely Starray EM-i, working across 2 studios at Longcross Studios South, we supplied over 500 fixtures, control system, networking and our superb lighting team to deliver the reveal studio live broadcast and the expo.

Whilst we're currently busy loading in a different show at the Arena, we thought it time to look back on one of our incredible projects from last year!

Back in November, we were delighted to partner with long term clients , to deliver an exciting show for in Birmingham to celebrate 20 years of Rock Choir with their "Ultimate Christmas Party", ROCK CHOIR LIVE, featuring special guests , , , and of course Rock Choir Founder

Michael McIntyre's Big Show - Series 9

Saturday night saw the return of Michael McIntyre's Big Show on BBC1 for its 9th successful series.

This year bought a new set of challenges, fitting the show in underneath a huge West End show sitting resident in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Liteup supplied a large range of fixtures and infrastructure to supplement the existing lighting rig, consisting of fixtures from manufacturers such as , , , .it, , , with control via , and switches and nodes.
