Who knew that for Hal and Hannah, a virtual game of Dungeons & Dragons during lockdown would lead to a lifetime of love?

From a six-hour first date, mini golf and iced coffees in freezing temperatures to a flat that exploded and a proposal that took THREE attempts on the beautiful Isle of Islay!

Hal opened a fortune cookie after their first date…It read, “Happier days are definitely ahead for you.”

Six years later, at the National Piping Centre those happier days are here, and a whole new adventure is just beginning.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Yacoubian! Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter and many more adventures together!

Ellie and Grant got a standing ovation from their guests when they were pronounced married! A first but why not! They had a room full of love for them.

Ellie’s mum read the poem ‘Marriage’ by William Letford beautifully and the happy couple tied the knot with hand fasting ties from Islay Mist and Hunting Stewart tartan.
The Sherbrooke Castle was looking glorious as ever.
Fabulous to work with Brian Wedding photographer for the first time too!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Watters- have the most wonderful married life together.

What an incredible autumn day for Carly and Martin’s gorgeous wedding at Boturich Castle. Such a beautiful setting. Their love story started with a chance meeting at a hockey/rugby clubhouse and the rugby/hockey guests were certainly ready to party yesterday!
Carly and Martin shared mountaintops in Glencoe, snowy escapes in Pitlochry, a romantic proposal in the Italian Lakes, career changes, difficult times and wonderful times. However it was the emergency late night McDonalds in Carlisle that sealed the deal and they just knew this was it!
They had two cracking poems read beautifully and handfasting ties expertly knotted!
Their support team of bridesmaids, groomsmen and flower girls/page boy all played a blinder.
Great to have the ceremony accompanied by the brilliant Capella String Quartet | Glasgow and to work with the fabulous Wedding Photographer Scotland .
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Whyte! It was a privilege and a joy! Take care of each other. ❤️

Who knew the Tallship SS Glenlee on the River Clydr would provide such an incredible backdrop for Anna and Blair’s wedding. Just stunning! Definitely near the top of my wedding venue list now.
Their love story started quietly at T in the Park in 2014. Then after an introduction from Anna’s brother Ryan this pair of budding musicians started writing and recording their own music. Fast forward over a decade and they now tour the world with their band Dead Pony. Along the way there’s been adventures, laughter, chicken noodle soup and their wee dog Molly!
An emotional and surprise proposal in the Corona Bar on New Year’s Day 2025 brought them here.
This beautiful pair are each other’s biggest fan and just made for each other.
Here’s to a lifetime of music, love and adventures Mr and Mrs Crichton!

What an incredible day at Glenmorangie House for Kevin and Fernanda’s wedding last weekend. They travelled from their home in Dubai although Kevin is in fact, a local boy! Fernanda is from Brazil and her family and friends were just blown away by the stunning surroundings of Glenmorangie House. Her mum Ilvanete made a beautiful crochet handfasting to complement Kevin’s tartan. Her brother Diego even managed to get a sound from the bagpipes! Luckily Paul the piper took over.
They were blessed with great weather (sausage successfully buried!) - a little known tradition in Brazil!
All in all the most magical day in the most beautiful part of Scotland.

Idyllic Ayrshire garden setting for Caroline and Liams wedding last weekend. Until the combine harvester started up and the local air show fly past began! It all added to the atmosphere.
If ever a pair were made for each other it’s Caroline and Liam. A friend described them as ‘the same kind of weird’! They described themselves as two halves of a whole idiot!
Such a fun loving couple and their wee pooch Inara just loves to join in too! May your marriage be filled with laughter that never grows old and adventures that never stop. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Neal - you were a joy.

What a stunning day for Fiona and Ross’s wedding at Carlowrie Castle. You could just feel the love in the room. A chance meeting in Jinty McGinty’s was the start of something special although their first date was almost sabotaged by a sub crawl hangover! They survived and life led them through the ordinary day to day moments that build a relationship alongside holidays, house moves, proposal at the Ritz.. on their wedding day they had a veritable team of supportive bridesmaids and groomsmen including gorgeous flower girls. Of course star of the show was their fabulous son Ben who was a page boy. He wasn’t that impressed with my chat though and slept through the ceremony. Fair!
Our fantastic photographer Jen | Edinburgh Wedding Photographer kindly allowed me to capture a wee pic during her photoshoot! Stunning flowers by Liberty Blooms - East Lothian / Edinburgh Wedding Florist !
Redcoat Richard also insisted on getting in on the act!

Darren and Lou wanted to have the place they got married close to them. So when they got married in the Exchange they brought their rug from their living room and got married on that exact spot! What a brilliant idea!!
It was so them. I loved being able to tell their story using their own insightful thoughts on their relationship. A genuinely lovely couple.
Great to work with Alisha | Wedding Content Creator Scotland and Lauren | Edinburgh Wedding Photographer and be entertained by the wonderful Rosewood Strings.
