Project “Smiles” - First & second fix completed for a dentist in Barnet. We have been working on this project on and off over the past few weeks.

Installing Hybrid intruder alarm.
This consisted of
- 3 x Wireless door contacts
- 3 x PIR sensors
- Wired Keypad
- External bell
- Internal sounders
All in black 🔥

5 X Uniview All black Turrets & Bullets throughout site linking back to Hik vision recorder.

While on site the customer asked us to produce a live stream camera for X-ray monitoring
So we supplied a
- 4K UNV dome with a HDMI output
- 7 inch HDMI monitor for live feed viewing

We also had the complete fire package on this one which our friends over Sarum system's LTD carried out for us.

Site Temporary Security for a Local Festival Over the Bank Holiday

Working closely with the onsite security team for a while now, they put us forward to supply them with a temporary security solution.

We pre-configured wireless bridges and switches and set up cameras in areas which the onsite security team felt were vulnerable:

•⁠ ⁠Search areas
•⁠ ⁠Main stage
•⁠ ⁠Stage 2
•⁠ ⁠Bar

All cameras were set up to the security hut so the CCTV operator could monitor them 24 hours a day.

This helped to prevent any antisocial behaviour, overcrowding or crushing.

Back at for Project Tigers

First day on site today after the tigers have gone on holiday for the month. We started with testing current CCTV cameras and cables to get an understanding why 6 are not working.

- Project tigers will consist of
New cctv throughout on show and off show areas
- Replacing existing cameras with more modern and better models
- Discreet cameras for the birthing units to capture those special moments

All to be turned around by end of September 🤌🏽 when there tigers come back from their trip!

Project Nursey - second fix well under way and commissioning has started .

- WiFi installed and working for staff to start using while they start setting up
- CCTv up and recording protecting the site while small works still go on
- Paxton access control well underway and working locking rooms down once they are completed so no more mess can be made before hand over.

Back in Cambridge for another access control installation.

This project includes:

• 6 new access-controlled doors
• 2 fisheye CCTV cameras
• CEM access control panels
• HID readers
• Heavy-duty maglocks
• Break-glass units & exit buttons
• Door monitoring contacts for open / forced status

1st fix is well underway, and we’re working to tight deadlines with the installation due to a very exciting delivery coming up.

This customer reached out about WiFi 6 after seeing one of our recent post. They asked if we can deliver WiFi mesh across the house - garden - and a lodge for future air bnb hosting.

Installing Ruijie WiFi 6 throughout the property consisted of
- 2 x External 150m external omni dishes
- 4 x Ruijie Wifi6 internal dishes
- 3 x Smart managed switches across the property utilising existing cat 6 network infrastructure.

Setting up separate networks for
•⁠ ⁠Home use
•⁠ ⁠Business use
•⁠ ⁠Airbnb guests

While on site the customer requested more work so stay tuned for the next post…!

📍 Dunmow, Essex

WiFi • CCTV • Intruder Alarm

After looking after a commercial property for this customer, they asked us to come and assist with their lovely new home.

The installation consisted of:
Ruijie WiFi installed throughout the property to eliminate dead spots on the existing network. Using Ruijie, we created a seamless mesh network and even set up a guest WiFi, so no more "What's the WiFi password?"

2 x 8MP UNV cameras connected to a Hikvision recorder, with motion alerts sent directly to the customer's phone.

24-hour full-colour cameras installed at the front and rear of the property.

Intruder alarm takeover (luckily, it was already an Orisec system!).

Bell covers replaced, sensors upgraded to pet-friendly sensors, and an app module installed for remote control.

Removing an old Videx intercom system after it had failed.

Replacing this with a two wire intercom system with a new hikvsion intercom with keypad entry.

Linked back to the customer’s phone for ease of access and never missing a delivery

A proud moment for our team at Hertfordshire Zoo.

We were delighted to be invited to celebrate the official Lemurs opening - a project we were proud to support by delivering the CCTV and security systems.

Seeing a project move from planning and installation through to opening day is always rewarding, and it was fantastic to see the space come to life and visitors enjoying the new attraction.

A huge thank you to the team at Hertfordshire Zoo for inviting us to be part of such an exciting milestone.
