👍 Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
👍 Hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle, and be willing to travel.
👍 Be willing to work one weekend in four.
👍 Hold, or be willing to obtain, Class 1 Business Insurance.

Responsibilities:
As a Nanny for an Older Adult, you will:
👍Support clients both inside and outside their homes, helping them remain active, independent, and engaged.
👍Provide practical, emotional, and occasional digital support tailored to each client's needs.
👍Offer meaningful companionship and build trusted relationships.
👍Assist with light household duties, including meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
👍 Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and community events.
👍Help promote clients' wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking warm and dependable individuals who genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults and helping them maintain their independence.

Applicants from Radlett, Shenley, and London Colney are particularly encouraged to apply. While we build our client base in these areas, you may be asked to support clients in St Albans and surrounding villages.

Experience in care is welcome but not essential. Above all, we're looking for people with kindness, empathy, and a desire to make a positive difference in their community.

Recently, our Nannie Yve accompanied Tony on a visit to his family graves, a place filled with precious memories and deep personal significance.

Visits like these remind us that companionship is about so much more than practical support. Over time, genuine friendships develop, built on trust, understanding and shared experiences. This trust allows our clients to share important parts of their lives, revisit meaningful places and reflect on treasured memories with someone who truly understands them.

Having a companion by your side during these moments can provide comfort, reassurance and the confidence to make visits that might otherwise feel difficult to undertake alone.

At Nannies 4 Grannies, we feel privileged when clients choose to share such personal moments with us. These connections are at the heart of what we do and are a reminder that companionship can make a meaningful difference to wellbeing and quality of life.

🐠🌿 Exploring New Places Together 🌿🐠

Recently, our wonderful Nanny Kate and client Bill enjoyed a trip to a local aquatics centre, and it was the perfect outing for him.

Knowing that Bill has his own fish at home and has a real interest in aquatic life, Kate thought it would be a lovely place to visit. Together they spent time looking at the different fish and displays, sharing conversations and enjoying a change of scenery.

Getting out and about is such an important part of wellbeing. Exploring new places can spark interest, encourage conversation, stimulate memories and provide a sense of adventure, no matter our age. Whether it's visiting a garden centre, café, museum or aquatics centre, these outings can bring joy and purpose to the day.

At Nannies 4 Grannies, we love creating meaningful experiences that are tailored to our clients' interests and hobbies. For Bill, this was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy something he loves while spending quality time with Kate. 💜
