WEDNESDAY VISIBILITY TIP

Here’s something you can do today that takes about 5 minutes.

Go to the page of someone you genuinely like or support.

Don’t just hit like.

Read their post.
Leave a proper comment.
Ask a question.
Start a conversation.

Then do it again with someone else.

Because visibility isn’t just about getting people to notice you.

Sometimes the quickest way to become more visible is to be visible for other people first.

Go on... who are you going to visit today?

TUESDAY QUESTION

Right, let’s settle this...

When you’re creating content, what’s the ONE thing you struggle with most?

Pick one:

A. Knowing what to post
B. Getting people to actually see it
C. Getting people to comment
D. Turning views into sales
E. Staying consistent
F. ALL OF THE ABOVE

And if you picked one, tell me why.

You might find someone else in the comments is struggling with exactly the same thing.

Let’s see what’s causing the biggest headache today...

DAY 7 OF 7: TELL YOUR STORY

Right, day 7.

And … we've made it to the end.

Over the last six days we've shown up, shared something useful, started conversations, been a bit more human, talked about what we sell and supported other people.

Today we're bringing it all together.

Your story.

Because people don't just want to know what you sell.

They want to know why you do it.

And your story doesn't have to be some dramatic, perfectly written tale of how you built a six-figure business from your spare bedroom.

It can be much simpler than that.

Your 15-minute challenge:

Tell people a little bit of your story.

You could share:

👉Why you started your business
👉What made you decide to do what you do
👉How you got started
👉Something you've learned along the way
👉A mistake that taught you something
👉A moment you're proud of
👉What keeps you going when things are hard
👉Where you'd like to take your business next

Don't worry about making it perfect.

Just tell it like you're telling a friend.

And remember, you don't have to share anything you're not comfortable sharing.

Your story belongs to you. You decide which bits people get to hear.

The point isn't to create some polished “About Me” speech.

It's to let people understand the person behind the business.

Because your story is one of the things nobody else can copy.

So that's it.

15 minutes. One story. Just you.

And when you've posted it, come back and let me know.

I'd genuinely love to read it.

Now don't disappear again tomorrow. That's the bit we need to work on next.

DAY 6 OF 7: ENGAGE WITH OTHERS

Right, day 6.

We're nearly there.

Today we're turning our attention away from your own content and going to see what everyone else is up to.

Because visibility isn't just about people seeing you.

Sometimes it's about you being seen while you're supporting other people.

And I'm not talking about leaving a load of “Great post!” comments everywhere and disappearing again.

Actually take a few minutes to connect with people.

Your 15-minute challenge:

Spend 15 minutes engaging with other people's content.

You could:

👉Leave a genuine comment on someone's post
👉Answer a question someone has asked
👉Share someone's post if it's useful
👉Congratulate someone on a win
👉Reply to someone who's commented on your content
👉Send a message to someone you've not spoken to for a while
👉Go and support another small business

The important bit?

Be genuine.

If you like someone's post, tell them why.

If someone has asked a question you can help with, answer it.

If someone's doing something brilliant, tell them.

You don't need to turn every interaction into a sales opportunity.

Sometimes it's just nice to be a decent human being on the internet.

And here's the bonus...

When you genuinely engage with people, they start to recognise your name.

They might visit your profile.

They might follow you.

They might remember you when they need what you offer.

But even if none of that happens?

You've still spent 15 minutes making someone else's day a little better.

Not a bad use of your time.

So today:

Go and support someone else.

Then come back and tell me who you supported.

15 minutes. A bit of genuine engagement. No spammy comments. No sales pitch. Just connection.

DAY 5 OF 7: SELL WITHOUT THE AWKWARDNESS

Right, day 5.

We're getting into the bit that makes a lot of people want to hide behind the sofa...

Selling.

I know. I said the S word.

But selling doesn't have to mean shouting BUY MY STUFF at people every five minutes.

And you don't need to suddenly become a pushy salesperson either.

Your job today is simply to tell people what you offer and why it might be useful to them.

Your 15-minute challenge:

Pick one thing you sell and talk about it.

You could:

👉Share a product
👉Talk about a service
👉Show something you've made
👉Share a customer favourite
👉Explain what problem you solve
👉Tell people why you created it
👉Share who it's perfect for
👉Tell people how they can buy from you

And here's the important bit...

Don't just tell them what it is. Tell them why they might want it.

Instead of:

"I sell X. Here's the link."

Try:

"If you're struggling with X, this might be exactly what you need..."

See the difference?

You're not forcing anyone to buy.

You're simply making it easier for the right person to realise "Oh... that's actually for me."

And definitely don't apologise for selling.

Your business needs customers.

You're allowed to make money from the thing you've worked bloody hard to create.

So today, sell something.

No guilt.
No awkwardness.
No desperate sales pitch.

Just tell people what you've got and who it's for.

Then come back and tell us what you shared.

15 minutes. One offer. No hiding behind the sofa.

🌟 IS YOUR FACEBOOK FEED LOOKING A BIT… WEIRD?

You follow loads of UK businesses, creators and people you actually want to see.

So why is Facebook showing you endless random pages from the US instead?

You’re not going mad.

Facebook is pushing more recommended content into the Home feed, rather than simply showing you the people and Pages you follow.

The good news? There are ways to get more of your actual follows back into your feed.

I’m looking at what’s changed and what you can do about it, because frankly… I didn’t ask Facebook to move me to America. 😂

Has your feed changed too?

DAY 4 OF 7: BE MORE HUMAN

Right, day 4.

We've already made it through three days. Look at us.

Today we're taking the business hat off for a little while.

Because here's the thing...

People don't connect with businesses.

They connect with people.

And I think sometimes we get so caught up in trying to look professional, polished and like we've got our sh*t together that we forget to actually let people see us.

So today, I want you to show a little bit of you.

Your 15-minute challenge:

Share something personal or a little bit of behind-the-scenes.

It could be:

👉What you're up to today
👉A peek at your workspace
👉What you're working on
👉A little win
👉Something that's gone completely wrong
👉What you're drinking while you're working
👉A random fact about you
👉Something you're loving, hating or laughing about

And no, it doesn't have to have anything to do with your business.

That's the point.

Let people get to know the person behind the business.

And before anyone panics, I'm not telling you to put your entire life on Facebook. Share what you're comfortable sharing. Some parts of our lives are private, and that's absolutely fine.

But let a little bit of your personality out.

Because professional doesn't have to mean boring.

And you don't have to sound like a corporate robot to run a successful business.

Be yourself. Be a bit weird. Have a laugh. Show the messy desk.

Let people see the person they're actually going to be buying from, working with or chatting to.

So today, give people a little glimpse of you, not just your logo.

Then come back and tell me what you shared.

15 minutes. One little bit of you. That's today's challenge.

03/09/2026

A walk, the sea, a bit of fresh air and absolutely no scrolling.
Sometimes you just need to put the phone down and go somewhere that reminds you there’s a whole world outside it.

DAY 3 OF 7: START A CONVERSATION

Right, we're on day 3.

So far we've shown up and given people something useful.

Today, we're going to actually talk to them.

Because visibility isn't just about putting posts out there and hoping someone notices.

It's about starting conversations.

And no, I'm not suggesting you slide into someone's DMs with a dodgy sales pitch. Nobody needs that.

Your 15-minute challenge:

Go and start a conversation today.

You could:

Ask your audience a question
Put a poll on your stories
Ask people what they're struggling with
Reply properly to someone's comment
Comment on someone else's post
Start a conversation in a relevant Facebook group

The trick is to actually be interested in the answer.

Don't ask a question just because you've been told engagement is important.

Ask something you'd genuinely like to know.

And if someone replies?

Talk to them.

That's where the good stuff happens.

You never know where a simple conversation might lead — a new connection, a new customer, a collaboration, or just a really good chat with someone who gets what you're doing.

So today:

Don't just post and disappear.

Go and have a conversation.

Then come back and tell me how it went.

15 minutes. One conversation. That's today's job.

✨DAY 2 OF 7: GIVE SOMETHING USEFUL✨

Right, day 2.

Yesterday was about showing up. Today we're going to give people a reason to stop scrolling.

And no, this doesn't mean you need to suddenly become an expert in everything.

Your job today is simply to share something useful.

Think about the questions people regularly ask you.

What do they struggle with?

What have you learned the hard way?

What little tip do you know that could make someone else's life easier?

That's your content.

Your 15-minute challenge:

Share one useful thing today.

It could be:

👉A quick tip
👉A handy shortcut
👉Something you've learned
👉An answer to a question you're often asked
👉A mistake you've made and what you'd do differently
👉A useful resource
👉A simple how-to

And don't fall into the trap of thinking:

"But everyone already knows that."

They probably don't.

What feels obvious to you might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today.

You don't need to write an essay.

Pick one thing you know and share it.

That's it.

Then pop back here and tell me what you shared. And if you fancy it, put it in the comments — you never know who might find your tip useful.

15 minutes. One useful thing.
