A huge congratulations to Graham Roberts at CEVA Barton Under Needwood, winner of our Anchor All-Stars Community Award 👏

Outside of work, Graham spends his own time handcrafting candles and selling them on-site, with every penny going to charity 💙

From supporting to fundraising for with handmade Easter bunny candles 🐰🌳, Graham’s kindness and community spirit have made a real difference to some amazing causes.

Safe to say this award was VERY well deserved 😄👏

And an extra cheer for Boutaina, who’s officially been crowned Cleaning Colleague of the Month ⭐🏆

Gill, Boutaina and the whole team work incredibly hard behind the scenes every day and it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.

Blue lights, radios, incident reports… and thankfully no actual emergency 🚨😅

Earlier this week, some of our Hampshire security management teams took part in a late-night multi-agency training exercise at Meridian Shopping Centre where they put teamwork, communication and emergency planning to the test alongside blue-light partners.

Not your average evening shift… but a great reminder that preparation, quick thinking and strong teamwork really matter when it counts 🙌

Following our recent Anchor All-Stars winners announcement, we wanted to shine a light on one of this season’s standout stars… Michael Murray 👏

Michael picked up the Core Values Award at Liverpool Waters Multi-Storey Car Park and honestly, the feedback about him says it all. Reliable, adaptable, supportive and always bringing a positive attitude to the job 💪

Over the last two years, Michael has taken on changes, supported colleagues and built fantastic relationships across the site - all while representing the very best of Team Anchor every single day.

If you've had half an eye on the tabloids you'll know that Season 2 of Celebrity Traitors is currently being filmed at Ardross Castle (although we'll have to hang on till the Autumn to watch it 😬)

25 years. Over 100 sites in a single year. Countless night shifts. And somehow Phil still turns up smiling 😄👏

A massive congratulations to Phil Greenhalgh on reaching an incredible 25 years with Anchor Group Services ⭐

If there’s a site that needed support, chances are Phil’s worked there at some point! From helping teams across the North West and the rest of the UK, to supporting operations in our 24/7 Chester control room, he’s become a familiar face right across the business.

The only challenge we had was actually catching him in one place long enough for Alan to present the award 🌙😂

Thank you for 25 amazing years, Phil, a true Anchor legend 👏

Big congratulations to our April Employee of the Month at Gloucester Quays… Boutaina! 👏🎉

If you’ve worked with Boutaina, you’ll know that nothing is ever too much trouble. She’s always ready to jump in, support the team, and keep things running smoothly (even when it’s busy… which is often! 😄).

From leading the team to keeping standards high day in, day out, she brings energy, positivity and a real “get it done” attitude that makes a difference every single day.

Honestly, we’d be lost without her!

⛳️ Who’s ready for a great day on the greens?

Anchor is hosting a charity golf day at Northop Golf Course on Friday 26th June and it’s all for an incredibly important cause 💙

Rupert is just 8 months old and living with a rare condition called AHC. It’s life-threatening, unpredictable, and there’s currently no cure, but his family are raising funds to access pioneering treatment and research in the US.

This one’s close to home for us at Anchor, and we’d love to bring as many people together as possible to support it.

So whether you’re a seasoned golfer, someone who spends more time in the rough than the fairway or just there for the good company and fresh air you’re more than welcome to join us!

It’s set to be a brilliant day filled with laughs, a bit of friendly competition and most importantly... making a real difference.

Half term will be here before we know it… and Clip & Climb is the perfect wet weather activity, keeping active children entertained, moving and burning off energy, whatever the forecast 🌧️🧗‍♀️

That got us thinking back to earlier this year when the team at Gloucester Quays got a chance to try out Clip ‘n Climb for themselves before the fun was opened to the public 😄

It was all hands on deck getting everything ready for the opening... escalators gleaming, floors shining, glass spotless… if it could be cleaned, it was cleaned 💪✨

Then came the reward…

The team was invited to take on the climbing walls and it didn’t take long before things got competitive 😅

🧗‍♀️ A mid-climb “what have I done?” moment… followed by a smooth recovery
😂 A quick realisation that the slides are the easiest way down
💪 A few natural climbers who made it look far too easy
🙌 And plenty of laughs along the way

It’s not every day you go from cleaning escalators to climbing walls but it’s a great reminder that behind the hard work, there’s always time for a bit of fun too.

If you’re heading to Gloucester Quays this half term, we can definitely recommend giving it a go 👏
