Another one ticked off by the Herts Renewables team ⚡️🔥☀️

A great example of bringing heating, solar and battery storage together as one complete system.

We removed the existing gas boiler and upgraded the property with:

🔥 Vaillant aroTHERM plus 7kW Air Source Heat Pump
💦 Vaillant uniSTOR Plus 250L Unvented Cylinder
☀️ 10 × AIKO 465W all-black panels – 4.65kWp
🔋 Sigenergy battery storage
⚡ Sigenergy hybrid inverter

The solar generates clean electricity throughout the day, the battery stores excess energy for when it’s needed, and the Vaillant heat pump takes care of the home’s heating and hot water.

Exactly the sort of complete renewable package we love delivering. And with a tight side access to work with, the lads have done a cracking job keeping the installation neat and tidy 👌

We’re looking for an experienced heating engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Gas Safe registration is favourable but not essential, and experience with heat pumps and high-end residential work would be a big advantage.

While this property is experiencing temperatures of over 40°C in direct sunlight, this Vaillant aroTHERM Plus air source heat pump is keeping the home comfortably cool using fan coil units operating in cooling mode.

📊 Today’s figures:
✅ 21°C indoor temperature
✅ 7.4 kWh used for cooling
✅ Cooling COP of 4.35

That means for every 1 kWh of electricity consumed, the system is delivering 4.35 kWh of cooling into the property.
