We would like to announce the completion of a project we have been working on for most of this year. Airtech was approached by a simulator experience operator in Spain to upgrade his 737-800 to EASA/CAA FNPTII/MCC standard to enable them to gain certification to commence professional pilot training.
This involved a complete overhaul and upgrade of the existing system from a single PC driving the simulator environment and visuals with 3 aircraft systems PCs to a 7 PC multichannel system with a 3 channel 4K visual system. Working closely with Brunner Electronik we added a cutting edge control loading system and designed a brand new autothrottle system. The core simulation software was upgraded from Prepar3D V2.5 to Prepar3D V4.5 Professional Plus (soon to be upgraded to V5 when Warpalizer compatibility with DirectX 12 is complete) with ProSim’s Professional Software Suite V3 and ORBX scenery database.
