🎃 HAPPY KILLIEWEEN 🎃

Happy Halloween to all our customers from Kilmarnock and the surrounding areas! 👻

To all our other customers - did you know that people from Kilmarnock do not celebrate Halloween necessarily on the 31st, they always celebrate it on the last Friday of October!? So tonight Kilmarnock will be busy with trick or treaters and Halloween parties!

Why you ask? The story goes that witches were only allowed to be burned in Kilmarnock on the same day as the cattle market, which was the last Friday in October. 👀

But another less gruesome theory is that companies paid their employees on the last Friday of the month, which would allow them to afford better treats. 🍬

Either way it’s a pretty unique day for Kilmarnock! So happy Killieween everyone! 🎃

🌟RHET FOOD AND FARMING DAY🌟

Today Nancy and Gwen headed to Lanark Market to support RHET Clyde’s Food and Farming days!

Over the course of the day various schools attended Lanark market to visit different stations to learn about the different aspects of the journey from farm to food!

At our station we had a New Holland tractor and we spoke about all the different ways tractors are used! 💪🏻

It is a really great event and we were pleased to be part of it again this year! 😊
