Small change, big impression - Sometimes, it's the smallest details in retail that get you thinking!

During a recent visit to the newly refitted Sainsbury's at Fosse Park, our Director, Emily Havard, spotted an interesting change in the positioning of their advertising screens. A simple shift that appeared to make the screens more noticeable to shoppers, while freeing up valuable space for products.

But how much difference can positioning really make? In our latest blog, Em explores the importance of understanding the shopper's journey, making the most of retail space and why thoughtful POS placement matters.

Have a read below! 👇

Working in point of sale, I often find myself noticing the details of a store while doing my own shopping. During a recent visit to the newly refitted Sainsbury’s at Leicester Fosse Park, one change caught my attention: the positioning of the advertising screens.

What makes a successful retail rollout? It’s rarely one big thing.

It’s good planning from the start, clear visibility as things move, straightforward communication when something changes, and the flexibility to deal with the unexpected.

Most importantly, it’s having the right people behind it – delivering consistently from the first store to the last.

We’ll be talking all things retail rollouts at RSC&L Expo this November.
