And while we LOVE the enthusiasm around The Opulence Gala & VEDA Awards 2026, we need to make something very clear.

Please do not purchase VEDA tickets through third parties.

Our reserved seated tickets are officially SOLD OUT.

And yes, we know exactly who has them.

We hold an attendee list for the evening and cannot guarantee or validate tickets purchased through unofficial sellers.

So before you send anyone money:

❌ Don’t buy tickets from strangers in our comments.

❌ Don’t send money because someone says they suddenly have four spares.

❌ Don’t assume a screenshot means a ticket is legitimate.

From family law to empowering women.

Our CEO, Hasina Reshamwalla, recently joined Vickki Ridgway and Geraldine Watson on the Lawfully Yours podcast for a conversation about law, resilience, community and what happens when some of the most difficult chapters of your life begin shaping your purpose.

Before VEDA, Hasina’s professional journey included working within family law and mediation, supporting people through some of the most challenging and emotionally complex moments of their lives.

But behind the professional was a woman navigating extraordinary challenges of her own.

During the episode, Hasina shares parts of her personal journey and reflects on how those experiences changed the way she understood resilience, compassion and what it truly means to support someone when their world feels uncertain.

That journey ultimately became part of the foundation for the work she does today.

Through VEDA Women’s Club CIC, Hasina has taken years of lived and professional experience and channelled them into creating something she once needed herself: a community where women can connect, rebuild confidence, access opportunities, celebrate themselves and know they do not have to navigate life alone.

The episode also explores some important developments in family law, including proposed reforms surrounding cohabitation rights, the enduring myth of “common law marriage”, and why understanding your legal position before a crisis happens matters.

Our CEO, Hasina Reshamwalla, recently joined Tegan on the Rebloom podcast for a conversation that goes far beyond success, leadership or titles.

It is a conversation about survival, resilience, health, motherhood, boundaries and learning how to choose yourself.

Hasina speaks openly about experiencing her first cardiac arrest at 16, receiving a pacemaker at 19, becoming paralysed at 34 following transverse myelitis, and later facing breast cancer.

But this episode is not simply about what she survived.

It is about what she learned in the process.

From being told she may never walk again, to returning to the hospital two years later in the heels she once wore from her wheelchair, Hasina shares how self-trust, intentionality and mindset became fundamental to rebuilding her life.

One message particularly reflects everything we believe at VEDA:

Your health is not separate from your goals. Your health should be one of them.

The conversation explores the pressure women place on themselves to keep going, the many identities we carry as mothers, daughters, professionals, carers, entrepreneurs and friends, and the importance of moving from simply surviving to genuinely thriving.

It also speaks to why VEDA exists.

To create spaces where women can take off some of those hats.Where asking for help is strength.Where celebrating yourself is encouraged.Where community reminds you that you were never meant to carry everything alone.

Hasina closes the episode with three simple reminders:

You might know VEDA for the cocktails, the events, the pink… but that’s only part of the story. 🌸
So, allow us to reintroduce ourselves.
VEDA Women’s Club was created with one belief at its heart: women deserve spaces where they can show up exactly as they are.
Since launching in September 2025, we’ve created rooms filled with laughter, honest conversations, new friendships, confidence, connection and women genuinely clapping when another woman wins.
From cocktails and hot yoga to boxing, financial wellbeing, Galentine’s celebrations, community workshops and our Women’s Expo, every VEDA experience looks a little different.
But the purpose behind them never changes.
Because VEDA is also a Community Interest Company.
Behind the events is the work you might not always see.
We’ve supported young carers.
Worked alongside women’s organisations and community partners.
Created conversations around cancer, hidden disabilities, employment, wellbeing and rebuilding after adversity.
Supported charity initiatives.
And continued putting women, girls and our wider community at the centre of what we do.
And we’re still only getting started.
VEDA isn’t about walking into a room with 100 business cards.
It’s about walking into a room where you can exhale.
Where you can come alone and leave knowing someone.
Where collaboration matters more than competition.
Where women don’t just network.
We become friends. We become sisters. We become a community.
