🚨 We've seen it over and over - a group comes in and realises they've been paying MORE for a worse place elsewhere.

The poor trainer starts unloading: "I had to drag my gear up 4 flights of stairs. The heating didn't work. It smelled of damp. No one was around to help. We felt like a burden to the caretaker."

It's a real pity companies get treated like that when they've hired a space.

Thankfully we listened and made sure they always have a place to come back to again and again.

With over 100 organisations using our services, we'd like to think we've been doing something right for a while.

🎓 Booking a good venue means your people get more out of WHY they're there.

The amount of times we've heard:

- The venue was unclean
- No one showed up to unlock
- The floors were sticky
- We had to bring our own projector
- We had to bring our own tea and coffee
- We had to park far away
- The staff weren't very friendly

And on and on. Booking a space is risky and stressful if you've never been there before (which is why we encourage everyone to come by if they can).

We've all been to that hotel that has great marketing pictures that makes you feel like you've been catfished when you arrive in person.

It's really crazy how simple decent room hire is:

- Flexible room layouts to suit needs
- A booking system that makes a customer feels like it's THEIR space to book whenever they want
- Ability to display presentations, play video and write on a flipchart
- Someone on-hand for any help or problems
- A place to park
- Hot drinks to keep you fuelled
- Nice decor
- A maintained and cared for space

That's why we've hosted countless kinds of training, meetings, seminars, roundtables, focus groups, depositions, mergers, staff appraisals, interviews, the list goes on.

Because they all need the same things listed above. The only other necessity is the people, which is what you bring!

I don't know about you but I always used to wince at the thought of trying to find parking close by, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 having to get my phone out and use Google Maps to find the walking route to the venue, 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙉 having to continually spin my phone around and focus more on my screen than anything else to try to discern if I'm going the right way 🫣

Let's not even mention trying to find my car again later.....

What a relief to know that any event held at Maggie's just doesn't come with that drama. The parking is a-plenty, it's onsite and it's free 🥰

P.S. we can't show you the carpark on video cos it's just too high profile and in scarce supply. You have to see it in person 🤩

If something seems off about Patrick - his hair got lighter, he lost his American accent, and he just seems....different...

That's cos this is Tania, Maggie O'Neill's community manager!

She loves looking after people making sure everyone feels special.

She can literally do anything from fixing a chair with epoxy and power tools to running our space management system (needs must, she'd rather be on the tools).
