5 ways youâre killing deals.
Number one is why youâre still broke.
5 â You wonât shut up.
Silence hits and you panic, so you start filling it.
Every extra sentence is one more thing he can push back on.
Ask the question, then say nothing.
Let it get uncomfortable.
Whoever talks first loses.
4 â Youâre being a buddy.
Nobody wires four grand to a friend.
They wire it to the guy who clearly knows what heâs doing.
Be warm, but be the authority.
If you walk away feeling like you had a nice chat, you didnât close â you got used as free consulting.
3 â You drop the price too early.
âJust tell me how much.â
Thatâs a frame test.
You answer it, you lose.
Build the value, then give the number.
2 â Youâre pitching before you know anything.
Selling, selling, selling, and you have no idea what he actually wants.
Ask whatâs going on, what he wants, whatâs broken.
Find the pain first, then pitch into it.
1 â Your state changes when you say the price.
This is the killer.
Youâre relaxed the whole way through, then the number comes out and you tighten up.
He notices.
Now heâs thinking, why is this guy nervous about his own price â maybe it isnât worth it.
Say the number the same way you say your own name, then stop talking.
If youâre making three or more of these, thatâs not a talent problem.
Thatâs a training problem.
Comment âCLOSEâ and Iâll send you the framework.
