Global One We are a women-led charity spearheading sustainable development projects internationally

Global One is a UK based charity founded in October 2013 when a group of driven and passionate women led by Dr Husna Ahmad OBE recognised that there was a need for more Muslim women to come forward as changemakers in positions of leadership in the third sector. In particular more Muslim women, who are too often considered to be sidelined and disempowered. Global One is therefore proud to have a ma

jority women board, and a platform that gives diverse women from all backgrounds the opportunity to lead the organisation.

On this International Day of Education, we are reminded that education is more than learning lessons. It is about unlocking potential, nurturing confidence, and creating opportunities for every child to dream and grow.

At Global One, we remain committed to supporting inclusive and quality education so that no child is left behind. Because when a child learns, a community moves forward.

As part of our ongoing commitment to evidence-based action, the Global One Bangladesh Country Office conducted an assessment on the effectiveness, relevance, and overall impact of our services in our hospital “Humanity Rises Medical Clinic” at Rohingya Camp 8E, Cox’s Bazar.
A key focus of this assessment was tracking the climate-induced health hazards and understanding how environmental changes are affecting community health outcomes. The insights gathered will support more responsive programming and informed decision-making going forward.
Together, we continue working toward resilient communities and sustainable health interventions.
