Nobody wants to audit a quarter that did not go well. That is exactly why it repeats.

Planning Q4 without reading Q3 is how leaders spend three months solving the wrong problem with more energy.

The scoreboard is not the revenue. It is the pattern behind it.
Four questions. Twenty minutes. Once.

→ What worked that I have not yet made repeatable?

→ What failed on ex*****on, and what failed on judgment? They need different fixes.

→ Which relationship moved the needle most, and did I invest in it accordingly?

→ What did I tolerate for three months that I would not tolerate for twelve?

The last question is usually the expensive one.

↓ Save this and run it before you open a single Q4 document.

Most failed plans were not wrong. They were early, or they were late.

Since 2009 I have watched excellent strategies fail on timing alone. The launch that arrived three months before the market was ready. The hire made in a month of exhaustion. The conversation had while everyone was still defensive.

Reading timing is trainable:
→ Track the cycles of your own energy and decide inside the high ones
→ Notice organisational weather, when a room is open and when it is closed
→ Separate urgency from readiness, they feel identical and are not
→ Ask what happens if this waits 30 days, the honest answer tells you everything

Strategy tells you what to do. Foresight tells you when. Leaders who train both stop forcing outcomes.

↓ DM me the word TIMING if a decision has been sitting on your desk too long.

Indecision is not neutral. It is a decision that charges interest.

There is a decision you have been carrying since spring. The role, the partner, the price, the conversation. You have run the analysis four times. You are not missing information. You are waiting for certainty, and certainty is not coming.

What postponement actually costs, in the order it shows up:
→ Attention. It runs in the background of every other decision you make
→ Credibility. Your team can feel an unmade decision long before they are told
→ Momentum. The window narrows while you deliberate, so the eventual choice is worse than the one you had in June
→ Energy. Carrying an open loop is more expensive than closing it badly

Clarity does not arrive before action. It arrives just after it.

↓ Name the decision in one sentence. Sometimes writing it down is the whole unlock.

September is the most honest month of the year. It shows you exactly what you actually decided in January.

Most leaders come back and restart. Same goals, more effort, new stationery. Nothing structural changes, so nothing structural improves.

Recalibration asks four harder questions:
→ What did I carry into this year that was never mine to carry?
→ Which goals are still real, and which are just old momentum?
→ Where did I spend energy without return?
→ What decision have I been postponing since spring?

You have 17 weeks left in 2026. Enough time to change a year. Not enough to change it twice.

↓ Save this and answer all four before Friday.

The most underinvested asset in your business is not your team. It is the state you make decisions from.

Your cognitive state determines your decision quality, and your decision quality determines everything downstream. That is not wellness language. It is operating logic.

What state design actually looks like at senior level:
→ Sequencing: irreversible decisions before noon, meetings after
→ Coherent breathing for 90 seconds between contexts, so each meeting gets a clean instrument
→ Pattern interruption: naming the loop out loud the moment you notice you are circling
→ One protected block a day with no decisions in it at all

Leaders who design their state stop confusing urgency with importance. That alone changes a quarter.

Only 39% of companies report any profit from AI. The technology is not the bottleneck. Judgment is.

Every leader now has infinite analysis on demand. What almost nobody has is the ability to decide well with it. The skills being named as future proof are not technical.

They are the oldest ones we have:
→ Judgment: choosing when the data supports three defensible options
→ Foresight: reading what a situation is becoming, not just what it is
→ Ethical clarity: knowing which win is not worth having
→ Influence without authority: moving people who do not report to you
→ Presence: the thing no model can simulate in a room

AI removed the excuse of not knowing. It did not remove the responsibility of choosing.

↓ Which of the five is your strongest? Comment it. I will tell you what usually sits underneath.

You will never sustain a level of success your identity disagrees with.

This is the pattern I have seen most often in 17 years of advising leaders. They build the strategy, execute it well, reach the threshold, then quietly undo it. Not from laziness. From a self image that was never updated.

Depth psychology calls it the ceiling of familiarity. In business it looks like:
→ Winning the client, then under delivering
→ Building the team, then micromanaging it back to yourself
→ Naming your price, then discounting it unprompted
→ Getting the visibility, then going quiet

The work is not more discipline. The work is becoming someone for whom the new level is ordinary.

↓ DM me the word MIRROR if you recognised yourself in that list.

The most dangerous burnout is the functional kind. It still hits deadlines. It has simply stopped being able to decide.

The current numbers are stark. 71% of leaders report heightened stress and 40% are weighing whether to leave their role entirely. Almost none of them have said it out loud.

Functional burnout has a signature, and it is not exhaustion:
→ You can execute but you cannot choose
→ Small decisions feel disproportionately heavy
→ You are present in meetings and absent from them
→ You are at 3pm energy by 10am
→ You keep waiting for a quieter week that never arrives

This is not a character flaw. It is a nervous system operating past its budget, and it responds to design, not willpower.

↓ Send this to a leader you suspect is running on empty.

Most coaching fixes one room. Leadership problems live in the whole house.

That’s why every All Success Keys engagement runs on the 8 Keys, a complete diagnostic of where your success is leaking:

SELF: who is actually making your decisions
INTELLIGENCE: emotional and strategic agility
POTENTIAL: strengths you’ve never monetized
PREDICTION: anticipation and timing
ABUNDANCE: your relationship with money and growth
LIGHT: clarity on what you can’t yet see
PROGRESSION: momentum systems that survive bad weeks
RELATIONAL: the alliances that multiply you

One key is usually rusted. It’s rarely the one you think.

↓ Comment the number you suspect is yours. I’ll tell you what usually sits behind it.

Executive coach in London. Strategist. And yes, a medium. I stopped separating the two in 2009.

Since then I’ve advised lawyers in Luxembourg, a jurist at the International Court of Justice, senior executives in Miami, founders across Europe.
They don’t come to me for motivation. They come because at their level, the next decision has no precedent, and conventional analysis runs out exactly there.

My work sits at a crossroads few occupy:

→ Strategic counsel: positioning, recruitment, growth, timing
→ Depth psychology: the blind spots that quietly run your leadership
→ Foresight: reading what a situation is becoming, not just what it is
