I didn't need another job.

I needed a life that actually worked for my family. ❤️

I was a stay at home mum, I'd lost a bit of myself along the way and I wanted something that was mine.

Something that gave me purpose outside of being Mum.

Something that allowed me to contribute financially to my family, while still being there for the school runs, the holidays, the sick days and all the little moments I never want to miss.

So I said yes.

And honestly, I've learned A LOT since then.

I've made bookings, earned money, saved people money on their holidays, built confidence I didn't know I had and realised that I actually CAN build something from scratch.

But now I want to take it further.

My goal isn't just to make a bit of extra money anymore.

I want more holidays.

More days out.

More saying yes without immediately checking the bank balance.

More freedom.

And eventually, I want to build a residual income that can benefit my children too.

I also want to help other women realise they don't have to choose between being a mum and having something of their own.

So this is my relaunch.

Not because I failed before.

Because I know now what I'm capable of, and I'm ready to see what happens when I actually go all in.

If you've ever thought “I want something for me, but I don't know where to start”, stick around. 👀

Anyway… I'm back, I'm serious, and I've got s**t to build. 🔥

🎀 LET’S LEARN GIRL HAIR TOGETHER | EP. 4

I saw this hairstyle and thought… I could probably do that.

Reader, I could not 😂

The plan was two French plaits with the middle sections left loose to braid afterwards.

It sounded simple.

It was NOT simple.

Two restarts, tangled hands, lost sections, plaits that refused to stay tight, a trip to find a hair clip from Alessa’s hair salon kit and over half an hour later… we eventually got there 😂

Then I discovered her hair is far too fine to recreate the hairstyle properly, so I improvised with hairbands and twists and hoped for the best.

It did not stay in very well.

But she looked cute for a minute, so technically… SUCCESS 😂

What hairstyle should I attempt next? 🎀👇🏼

“Why can't you just let it go?”

✨ Because my autism has apparently assigned me to the Department of Unresolved Injustices. ✨

What people often call autistic justice sensitivity can look like an intense reaction to unfairness, hypocrisy, broken rules, or situations that simply do not make logical sense.

And then comes the fun part...

My brain can also get completely STUCK on something.

So while everyone else has moved on, I'm still over here replaying the situation, analysing every detail, spotting every inconsistency and wondering WHY IT HAD TO HAPPEN LIKE THAT.

And before anyone says:

“Just stop thinking about it.”

Bestie.

I would LOVE to.

But my brain has apparently opened a fu***ng investigation. 😂

So when you tell an autistic person “just let it go”, meanwhile their brain is sitting there like:

But it was WRONG.

We have EVIDENCE.

There are INCONSISTENCIES.

And I have prepared a 34 slide presentation.

Can we regulate our reactions? Absolutely.

Does regulation magically convince the tiny autistic attorney living in our skull that the case has been dismissed?

Absolutely the f**k not. 😅

If you've got an autistic brain, you probably know EXACTLY what I mean.

And if you don't...

Well, congratulations on being able to let s**t go. 😂

Honestly, I’d like to unsubscribe from the plot 🫠

Surely I’m not the only one currently wondering what the f**k is going on 😂

Adulting really is just waiting for the next thing to go wrong.

Okay, this feels VERY vulnerable to post 🥹

But I keep thinking there must be other women who feel exactly the same…

I've always been a bit of a floater friend.

I'm chatty. I'm sociable. I can usually get on with pretty much anyone.

But having my people? A proper friendship group? Friends who stick around through different stages of life?

I've never really had that.

And honestly, getting into my 30s and becoming a mum has made me realise just how much it has affected me.

I've wondered whether ADHD or being neurodivergent plays a part. I've wondered whether making friends as an adult is just bloody hard. And I've wondered whether I'm somehow the problem.

I don't actually know the answer.

I just know that you can feel incredibly lonely even when you're surrounded by people.

And I really don't think we talk about that enough.

So if you're also a fellow floater friend, a mum who hasn't found her people yet, or you're just finding friendship harder than you thought you would…

let's be besties 🤣🤍

Because clearly we both need to get better at this friendship thing 😂

Tell me I'm not the only one 👇🏻

🎀 LET’S LEARN GIRL HAIR TOGETHER | EP. 3

We need to talk about the PARTING 😂

Why is getting a straight, neat parting on toddler hair approximately 700 times harder than it looks?!

Add in a toddler who doesn’t particularly want to sit still and I’m basically fighting for my life 😂

Also, my phone storage being full and losing half the recording? Very on brand. Mum life, right? 😅

I’m actually really happy with how this one turned out though…

Although future Abbi is going to be VERY annoyed with present Abbi when it’s time to take all those hairbands out 😂

What hairstyle should I attempt next? 🎀👇🏼

I asked yesterday whether you'd take your kids away during term time...

76% said YES 👀

And I completely understand why. School holiday prices can be absolutely bloody ridiculous 😂

But what if you could make family travel work harder for you instead?

I saved £448.65 on our Disneyland Paris holiday alone.

That saving covered my £156 joining fee + 9 months of monthly payments.

And then there's the other side...

The holidays, activities, tours and trips you're already booking can also create opportunities to earn when people book through you.

So you're not just paying for access to travel savings.

You're learning how to travel smarter and potentially save AND earn from something you're already spending money on.

That's exactly why I started doing this alongside being a mum.

If you want me to show you how it works, comment TRAVEL 👀

06/09/2026

Apparently my 30s have taught me exactly what I will and absolutely will not tolerate.

Unfortunately, they have NOT taught me how much pasta to cook, how to eat a sensible amount of chocolate or how to judge the speed of an escalator. 😂

Add two kids, approximately 82 interruptions a day and a rapidly decreasing tolerance for bulls**t and honestly...

I'm just doing my best. 😂

Anyone else reached the “I simply cannot be arsed” stage of adulthood?
