The AI Frontier: It encompasses several dimensions:
Capability frontier — the most advanced tasks AI can perform at any given time, such as complex reasoning, multimodal understanding, code generation, and scientific problem-solving.
Research frontier — open problems that the field is actively working on, including more reliable reasoning, long-horizon planning, better grounding in the real world, and reducing hallucinations.
Safety frontier — understanding and mitigating risks as models become more powerful, including alignment, interpretability, and control — areas Anthropic explicitly focuses on.
Compute/scale frontier — how far increased compute, data, and model size continue to yield capability gains (the so-called "scaling laws" debate).
Organizations who are pivoting their operations with AI embeded from the start are likely to grow & succeed in this Agentic AI era.
