🎄 7 Weeks Till Christmas – My Top 5 Tips for the November & December Rush 🎄

Can you believe it’s only 7 weeks till Christmas? How are your books looking?
November can be a funny time — some of us are already in full festive mode, while others find it’s the calm before the storm.

Here are my 5 top tips to help you manage the run-up to Christmas without burning out:

✨ 1. Manage your books with leeway.
Leave room for emergencies — whether that’s a client who needs squeezing in or a day you need for yourself. Flexibility keeps stress down!

✨ 2. Use quiet spells wisely.
If November is calm, it’s the perfect time to get prepared: re-stock, tidy your kit, rest, batch cook, or catch up on personal admin. Future you will thank you!

✨ 3. Protect your energy.
If you can’t say yes — don’t. Have a waiting list or a cancellation list instead, and offer alternatives rather than overbooking.

✨ 4. Get January open.
Many clients prefer a fresh start in January or February, so start filling those months now. It helps balance your income and avoids the post-Christmas lull.

✨ 5. Plan your Christmas break.
You deserve time off too! Schedule it in, communicate it early, and protect it.
