August was relentless, but Carpe Diem Services was there when venues needed us most. 💪

Throughout the Edinburgh Fringe, our team provided professional, reliable security across Hibs and Hearts fixtures, pubs, licensed venues and events throughout the city. We helped protect guests, staff and businesses while keeping operations running smoothly.

We also continued supporting regular clients across Edinburgh and beyond, managing entrances, assisting venue teams and responding to changing demands with the professionalism and experience they trust.

💪 BUSY WEEKEND DONE. ANOTHER BIG WEEK AHEAD. 💪

Monday morning and after one of the busiest weekends we’ve had this year, it’s time to reset and get ready for another busy week.

From Scotland’s first World Cup match since 1998 in the early hours of Sunday morning, to thousands descending on Edinburgh for Zach Bryan at Murrayfield later that day, the city was buzzing from start to finish.

Our teams were out across Edinburgh supporting venues, bars and hospitality businesses, helping manage busy crowds and ensuring customers could enjoy the occasion safely. Across the weekend, we delivered over 500 hours of security and venue support, and that’s down to the commitment of a fantastic team who continually step up when needed.

A massive thank you to every member of staff who worked over the weekend. Whether you were on the doors, stewarding events, managing venues or helping behind the scenes, your professionalism, communication and teamwork never go unnoticed.

Now the attention turns to another huge week.

🏴 Scotland are back in World Cup action on Friday night, with supporters once again expected to fill venues across the country.

🐄 The Royal Highland Show gets underway on Thursday and runs through until Sunday, bringing tens of thousands of visitors to Edinburgh.

🌈 Pride Edinburgh takes place on Saturday, one of the biggest and most vibrant events in the city’s calendar.

✈️ This weekend we will also be supporting the National Museum of Flight, helping welcome visitors and ensuring operations run smoothly at one of Scotland’s premier visitor attractions.

It’s shaping up to be another busy week for the CDS team, and we’re looking forward to continuing to support our clients, venues, events and attractions across Scotland.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 FROM THE WORLD CUP TO MURRAYFIELD – EDINBURGH DOESN’T STOP 🏟️🤠

From the early hours of Sunday morning, watching Scotland play in their first World Cup match since 1998, to today with Zach Bryan arriving at Murrayfield, Edinburgh has barely had a chance to catch its breath.

While most people were enjoying the football and celebrations, our staff were out across the city supporting venues, managing busy crowds and helping things run smoothly. It was one of our busiest nights of the year, with over 300 hours covered across pubs, bars and events.

Now it’s straight into another big day.

With thousands of fans expected to head into the city for Zach Bryan, we’ll once again be supporting a number of venues around Murrayfield and the surrounding areas.

People often only see the end result — packed venues, good atmospheres and successful events — but there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make that possible. Staff giving up weekends, venue teams preparing for busy periods, and everyone working together to make sure customers can enjoy themselves safely.

A genuine thank you to every member of the CDS team for the effort you’ve put in over the last week. Covering shifts, helping each other out and turning up when needed doesn’t go unnoticed.

The wait is over.

As Scotland take to the field at the FIFA World Cup in the USA, supporters across the country will be gathering in pubs, bars, clubs and hospitality venues to get behind the national team.

Matchdays like these bring fantastic atmospheres, packed venues and unforgettable moments, but they also require careful planning and professional support to ensure everyone can enjoy the occasion safely.
