It’s International Control Room Week 2026! 🎉

International Control Room Week shines a spotlight on the dedicated control room teams behind our blue light services, who play a vital role in keeping our communities safe when it matters most.

But they're not the only ones behind the screens!

From our Head Office control room to colleagues supporting control room operations across client assignments, there's plenty happening behind the scenes.

Here's a snapshot of what our Head Office control room has managed over the last 12 months :

• 6,600 key movements
• 2,400 alarms attendances
• 563,144 hours of CCTV monitoring, protecting client property
• Overseen 119,061 hours of static duties

Alongside all of this, the team is also responsible for tracking in real time our dispersed workforce patrols, monitoring lone workers, coordinating incident escalation and response, overseeing fleet management and disaster recovery procedures, as well as handling incoming calls and general enquiries.

This all takes place 365 days a year, helping keep people and property safe, around the clock.

Different roles, different challenges, but plenty of reasons to celebrate the people behind the screens.

A big shoutout to all our control room colleagues for everything they do to keep things running smoothly.

Wear It Pink Day 2026 🩷

Today Head Office is getting involved with Wear It Pink Day to show our support for Breast Cancer Now and the amazing work they do.

Breast cancer is a cause that’s particularly close to our hearts, with Sarah from our Sales team having her own recent personal experience with breast cancer. We are incredibly proud of her resilience and are delighted to be celebrating this positive chapter in her journey, while coming together to raise awareness and support those affected by breast cancer.

A big thank you to Sarah for organising and coordinating today’s activities and bringing the team together to support such a meaningful cause.

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning was a great success! 💚

Thanks to everyone’s generous donations, we raised a fantastic £286.78 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Great to be involved in the first Manchester-wide careers cluster meeting at Heron House, bringing employers and educators together with a shared ambition: helping young people across Manchester become more career-ready and confident about their next steps.

The cluster meeting was a fantastic opportunity to make new connections, share ideas and explore how we can work together to bridge the gap between education and employment.

At Constant Security Services, we’re pleased to play our part in those conversations, helping young people understand the opportunities available, gain an insight into the world of work and recognise the different pathways open to them.

A key message from the session was the importance of making work experience meaningful, varied and accessible to all. Connecting businesses with schools gives us a real opportunity to turn that ambition into practical experiences that build skills, confidence and aspirations.

Thank you to the team at Greater Manchester Combined Authority for bringing everyone together and to the careers leaders and employer partners we met on the day.

It was great to be part of a network that includes: Rolls-Royce plc, Lloyds Bank, Autotrader, Great Places Housing Group, Gmi Construction, Manchester Airport, Manchester City Council, EQUANS-Group and many more...

Is your security culture supporting or undermining your protection? 🛡️

Security isn't just about officers, CCTV, access control or procedures. It's also about people, behaviours and how security is understood across an organisation.
