Throughout August, Pelican team members contributed generously to our Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary collections.

We were very proud to deliver four boxes full of goodies to our local Holly Hedge charity shop this in Nailsea this week!

From pet food and toys to blankets and baskets, the donations were gratefully received and will help lots of furry friends over the coming months 🐾

We’ve loved supporting our community this summer!

Here we are alongside our friends at Wessex Water for a joint volunteering day at Berrow Beach ☀️🏖️

After a few hours of hard graft, the team filled multiple bags full of litter, leaving the beach in a much better state. Not to mention building connections with each other in the process!

A top perk of working for Pelican, our team members can use one paid volunteering day every year to go and help a local community interest they’re passionate about.

Last week, our Working Parents Network held their Big Summer Meet! 🎉

The session was packed with great conversations and activities, including ‘top tips for summer survival’, a Child Safety Week quiz, and some time to reflect and relax ahead of Self Care Day next week.

A fantastic opportunity for our busy working parents to get together and share experiences as a likeminded group!

Our Working Parents Network is one of our most popular networks and one of the big perks of working for Pelican and water2business as a parent.

The network has proven so popular that we even have smaller breakout groups for different age ranges and Key Stages!

Last month, we collected donations from our team members towards Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club’s Kenya appeal. The appeal supports young girls and women in Kenya, contributing much needed hygiene products and clothing.

We were very proud to hand our donation boxes over to the club recently, showing our support for communities in need. We can always rely on Pelican team members to give generously 💛

At the South West Contact Centre Awards 2026 last week, we were crowned winners in two very special categories:

We achieved this during a year of significant transformation with the start of our major office refurbishment project. Despite the disruption to daily routines, our people have pulled together to support one another – and in turn maintain the high standards of customer service we are best known for.
