What a brilliant day we had at the Alresford Agricultural Show! ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who popped by the Raimes pitch for a glass of fizz — whether you were celebrating a win, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a glass of Raimes.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet lots of new ones too.

Providing visitors with a car-free way to explore the beautiful countryside near Wi******er, the South Downs Rambler bus takes the scenic route from Wi******er to Petersfield and back again, stopping via:

First day of harvest done with Pinot Précoce, beautifully clean and ripe. A huge thank you to our volunteers for boosting the team and bringing in almost 4t grapes. 🍇 🍇

After such a long, hot summer, grape harvest is fast approaching! Every year we hand harvest with a small, local group of team members and volunteers. First signs of veraison in the Pinot Noir Precoce. The onset of ripening; grapes starting to soften and change colour. Harvest for this block will be early September.

We’re delighted to share that Raimes English Sparkling has once again been recognised in The Real Review’s Top Wineries of Great Britain 2026, ranking No. 14.

This marks our sixth consecutive year in Anthony Rose’s Top Wineries of Great Britain—a recognition we’re incredibly proud of. Following this year’s tasting of our current releases, Raimes has climbed to No. 14, with Raimes Classic 2021 also receiving Gold recognition.

Anthony also highlights Hampshire as “the most dynamic county” in this year’s rankings, recognising its chalk soils, sheltered valleys and warming microclimates as producing wines that increasingly rival the very best of Kent and Sussex. We’re proud to be part of Hampshire’s flourishing wine community.
