DRUM CAMP 3rd-6th September, Hulver Farm.

Just 5 sleeps until we explode with a our most eclectic and vibrant line-up of world artists to date.

We celebrate our 30th year milestone with formidable programme of international artists including Seckou Keita, Simone Sou & Oleg Fateev, Balwinder Bhatti, Sekouba Oulare, Bulgarian dance troupe Fidanka and so many more. With rhythms pounding through the earth and sky we usually attract all the elements at Hulver Farm, from sunshine and rainbows and maybe a much needed shower or two, so come prepared for what the weekend and mother nature has instore for us.

Each Year at Drum Camp we support two very wonderful organisations close to our hearts; Medecines Sans Frontieres and Amnesty International.

We will run a fun Tombola for MSF on Sunday and have given a free trader pitch to Amnesty International, who will be selling all sorts of books, CDs and gifts with funds going direct to Amnesty's work around the world.

Today I have had a big Cull of my own book, DVDs and CD collections, so lots of interesting stuff in there including teaching DVDs and reference books and an eclectic mix of CDs from around the globe (lots of world percussion items in there!).

NEW VERSION OF DRUM CAMP TIMETABLE AVAILABLE

Just a little note to say we now have two versions of the workshop timetable to view or download from our webpage.

One is a single page version with all three days showing, the latest one is a 1 day per page version (3 pages in total), which has much larger font size for those that prefer bigger text.

DRUM CAMP 2026 -TICKET HOLDERS UPDATE

All bar coded tickets will be sent out to ticket holders today at 12.00pm. These will be emailed direct from our ticket provider Skiddle. PRE-ORDER MERCHANDISE DEADLINE 4th AUGUST.

We also remind you that the merchandise pre-order deadline closes on Tuesday 4th August, if you havent ordered yet. If you want to get the exact T, hoodie, vest or tank dress colour and size you want, then head to our shop here https://drumcampshop.bigcartel.com/

All pre orders will be waiting for you to collect from our merchandise tent when you arrive. We will only carry a small stock of extra apparel at the event, but will have other items to buy such as our 48 page souvenir programme, branded mugs and sling tote bags.

Our waiting list for tickets is ever growing, but with some ticket cancellations recently in, some of you have been lucky to be offered tickets. We can't promise all will get a ticket who have joined our waiting list, but you never know. It all comes down to ticket holder cancellations where by we operate a one out-one in system.

DRUM CAMP MERCHANDISE SHOP CLOSES FOR PRE-ORDERS ON TUESDAY 4th AUGUST

Our DC2026 apparel is now available for PRE-ORDER ONLY and will be waiting for you to collect from our Information tent when you arrive, or at any time over the weekend.

Our selection includes, T's, Hoodies, Vests, Tank Dresses and Tank Vests, plus Kids T's. All printed with a fabulous 30th anniversary mandala logo on the front and the artist line-up on the back. Available in a wide range of colours and sizes.

The deadline to place your pre-order is TUESDAY 4th AUGUST 2026, so you have a couple of weeks to place your order.

We will only carry a small stock of T's, Vests and Hoodies at the event. These will be on sale across the weekend, but we cannot guarantee we will have the garment colour and size you want, so its best to order before Drum Camp

Drum Camp Ticket Announcement!

All our full event and weekend tickets are now gone. But dont panic just yet if you didnt get round to buying one!

We have been recycling cancelled tickets back into our ticket platform, otherwise we would have been sold out a few weeks back. We adopted a one out, put one back in system, but now we feel the best thing to do is create a ticket waiting list.

Have I got a chance of getting a ticket now?

Well quite possibly. Over the years we have averaged that about 2-3% of ticket holders have to cancel right up until the event. This is for a number of genuine reasons, but this trend suggests maybe there might be a few more cancellations coming.

Join the waiting list!!!

If you contact us to ask to be put on the waiting list, we will offer cancelled tickets to you on a first come first serve basis. This could happen any time between now and the week leading up until the event. If you change your mind after we offer you a ticket, then the ticket will be carried over to the next person.

We are not prepared to simply keep adding to the numbers, thats not where we are at with this event, even though we do have capacity to do so.

Quality rather than quantity has always been our formula for Drum Camp, and that cap on numbers has stood up well for the past three decades - as they say, if it ain't broken - dont fix it.

We will send out a newsletter to both ticket holders and our general e-database shortly.

DJEMBE WORKSHOP ALERT!

Sekouba Oulare will be delivering 3 days of intermediate and advance djembe workshops at Drum Camp's 30th celebrations 3rd-6th September. He will also be performing a mind-boggling concert Saturday night at Drum Camp, alongside his fellow Guinean djembefola Iya Sako, and supported by members of Tanante.

Being based in Brazil, its taken a lot of planning to get Sekouba here to the UK and we are certain you'll want more from him after Drum Camp is over. Well we are doing just that - while we have got him in the country!

We have scheduled two more weekends of teaching after Drum Camp in collaboration with Jeremy Tomasck from Djembe-Awa, Drumroots Ltd and Hassan Lotfi of Drumzkool. The 2 workshop weekenders will take place in the South East and North of the UK, to give as many of you the chance to attend as possible.

We are delighted once again to be managing the workshop stages at WOMAD Festival in a few weeks time. We have a new venue name, together with a wonderful new setting at Neston Park. Wiltshire.

As co-programmers with the WOMAD team, we have curated an eclectic mix of artists, from specially brought in workshop leaders, (a number from our Drum Camp programme!), to hosting some excellent performing artists including; La Mixantena de Santa Cecillia from Mexico and Benin International Musical.

Its going to be great. Hope to see some of you over the weekend, come and say hi!
