DRUM CAMP MERCHANDISE SHOP IS NOW OPEN FOR PRE-ORDERS

Our DC2026 apparel is now available for PRE-ORDER ONLY and will be waiting for you to collect from our Information tent when you arrive, or at any time over the weekend.

Our selection includes, T's, Hoodies, Vests, Tank Dresses and Tank Vests, plus Kids T's. All printed with a fabulous 30th anniversary mandala logo on the front and the artist line-up on the back. Available in a wide range of colours and sizes.

The deadline to place your pre-order is MONDAY 4th AUGUST 2026.

We will only carry a small stock of T's, Vests and Hoodies at the event, along with other items including Mugs and Tote Bags. These will be on sale across the weekend, but we cannot guarantee we will have the garment colour and size you want, so its best to order before Drum Camp, should we not have something your size and colour at the event.

TRADERS AT DRUM CAMP.

We are so pleased to confirm that world percussion traders Knock on Wood will be at Drum Camp.

Originally established in 1980 by the late Ianto Thornber, (who many of you may remember fondly), Knock on Wood are now based in a warehouse in rural Suffolk - just down the road from Hulver Farm. We have been trying to tempt them to DC for years, and finally got there!

They offer a unique range of instruments, recordings and tuition materials from hundreds of sources around the world, from Fair Trade operations in Africa and Latin America to some big name brands such as LP, Pearl, Meinl, Toca, Gope, RMV, Liverpool, Izzo, Contemporanea, Schlagwerk, Kambala, Vintage and Tanglewood.

Knock on Wood are a business run by musicians for musicians, so whether you need a top quality darbuka, cajon, a handmade xylophone, a sweet toned kalimba, a noseflute or a complete Brazilian samba kit they have played it, compared it, taken it to pieces and put it back together again!

After an unexpected change in the line-up due to the visa refusal of guest artist Jali Musa Jobarteh, the tour moves forward with renewed energy as extraordinary Gambian singer, Mandinka griot & cultural practitioner .suso joins Sefo Kanuteh and Meriya Band for the tour.

While we are deeply saddened by the circumstances, we are incredibly excited to welcome Binta and continue sharing this celebration of West African griot heritage, music, storytelling & connection with audiences across the UK.
The first date of the tour takes place on 21 May at

Sefo Kanuteh is a Gambian kora player, cultural practitioner & educator whose work connects traditional Mandinka music with live performance, participation & community engagement across the UK.

Binta Suso is a celebrated Gambian singer & griot artist known for her powerful voice and deep roots in Mandinka musical tradition.

The evening includes:�• a pop-up photographic exhibition exploring griot lineage & Sefo’s artistic journey�• a participatory music workshop for string players, percussionists, singers & curious beginners, with around 10 koras available to use�• a live concert featuring Sefo Kanuteh, Meriya Band & Binta Suso, blending traditional Mandinka music with contemporary influences in an intimate and uplifting performance

We cannot wait to share this new chapter of the journey with you all.

We are proud to share that Sefo Kanuteh received support from to deliver his latest UK tour.

This project enables him to bring Jali Musa Jobarteh to the UK for his debut tour, joining Sefo & The Meriya Band in a programme rooted in Mandinka griot tradition, expanded through collaboration, improvisation & exchange.

Across the tour, we’ll be sharing a participatory programme that connects heritage & contemporary practice through:
• a pop-up photographic exhibition of my artistic journey
• interactive music workshops exploring kora, voice & collective improvisation (open to all levels, bring your own string or small percussion instrument & voice, 10 koras will be available for participants)
• live performances bringing these elements together
