Something BIG is happening in our play space ✨

We’re creating a brand new Role Play Zone designed to help children explore real-life routines through play 💛

Over the next few days, we’ll be revealing:
🍓 A fully stocked fridge
👩‍🍳 An oven for little chefs
🍽️ A dishwasher for teamwork and tidying
👕 A washing machine for everyday life skills
🔥 And even a BBQ for outdoor fun!

These additions aren’t just for fun (although there’ll be plenty of that!) They help children develop:
🗣️ Communication & language
🤝 Social skills & cooperation
🏡 Understanding of the world around them

We can’t wait to see the children step into their new roles and let their imaginations run wild!

Would you believe our doll’s house play set is from the IKEA 2000s catalog? It has been loved and played with for years, you wouldn’t believe the adventures it’s seen!

I’m doing my best to preserve its longevity, so it’s always ready for another round of imaginative fun 😉

Hi I’m Laura 👋

I own and run Ragged Rascals, also known as Harford Stay & Play. We started back in 2017 with absolutely no idea how it would go, and I can honestly say I’m so grateful to still be here, running sessions and providing parties for all our lovely families.

My favourite part of the group is seeing all your little humans having the best time. What most would call a toy explosion at the end of a session, I call a sign of learning through play and a very good time had. I also can’t resist a squishy hug and a cheeky smile 🥰

One of the things I love most about our sessions is that everyone is welcome and accepted. There’s no judgement here, and many of you know you can come to me with absolutely any question, I’ll always help in any way I can.

This isn’t just a job to me; it’s about bringing a community together.
