We had a great day yesterday at Vault & Vine Ponteland. The coffee was on point thanks to
Jo and her team, Suzie dressed accidentally in camouflage 🌴, Angeli hosted her first meeting with flair 🤩 and Zoe took photos on her amazing phone camera 📸 - honestly it's amazing, and coupled with Zoe's skills it takes the best photos!

It's going to be a fantastic meeting with speaker Jess Scott who is launching her business in Ponteland. I'm looking forward to hearing her business story.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Bank Holiday ☀️ I'm sure there were lots of BBQ's, beach days, garden party's and much more happening.

There is one ticket left for our Women of Steel at Malmaison Launch event on Tuesday 16th June.

Who is going to join Suzie and Zoe and grab the last one?

We are so excited to be partnering with Newcastle. A beautiful hotel for us gorgeous ladies to network in and maybe have a catch up coffee after or lunch with a potential client.
The lovely Wiktoria Anna will be our speaker and telling us about her love of Art as well as giving us a mini masterclass.

You know we don't promise extra's but it is our launch event and you can't have a launch event without extra's .....😉

If you're too late and don't get the last one..there are tickets available for July - but these are going fast. Do not wait as numbers are limited.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our brand new partnership with the stunning Hotel Malmaison Newcastle!

Thanks to the brilliant Malissa Charlton, Business Development Manager at Malmaison, Women of Steel Networking now has a permanent base right in the heart of city centre — complete with world-class facilities AND parking.

Every month, our founder Suzie Martin brings together brilliant women from across the North East for networking packed with connection, conversation, and serious confidence-building energy. Because when women in business lift each other up — extraordinary things happen.

So who is our new host?

"Hi I'm Angeli.👋
A GP, mum of two children, one of which has allergies, so yes I read EVERY label! I'm also a PTA mum because apparently I don't do things by half.
In the spaces between all of the above I'm building a travel network business.
I'm at my happiest when I'm working on this...it's my pleasure to help others create an income from travel while living their real busy, beautiful lives.
I also LOVE meeting new people, and I love networking so hosting my own Women of Steel was a no brainer.

Thank you to those who have bought tickets already...you guys must know how nice the coffee is in Vault and Vine! I'm a smoothie girl and I can vouch for how addictive they are. 🥤

So come and network with me in Ponteland and Darras Hall. Refreshments are included in the price and there's plenty of parking very close to the cafe."

Happy Saturday Fellow Women of Steel!

Thank you to all that attended our May event at Banyan Newcastle.

As always our meeting was full of laughs, new business news, people sharing ventures and ideas. Here is a round up of May's Madness!

Coffee, Create and that word 'Just' again!

Such a lovely catch up today with Women of Steel Business Networking at Banyan right in the middle of Newcastle city centre. The coffee was good - phew!

Lots of new faces today - which is great. We all network to expand our connections and opportunities and we love welcoming new people to our movement. Women of Steel is often the choice for first time networkers. A smaller group is less daunting, and with more opportunity to get to know one another I think it creates more opportunity for....well - opportunity!

Thank you to Hannah Wood for welcoming us with open arms. It was a great space for entertaining and holding our event.

Kerry Dick was our speaker today. A creative at heart Kerry talked us through the struggle many of us have felt, wanting to be self employed, having an idea but it never being the right time to start. Something as simple as a child's birthday and needing your next pay packet can stop you from making the leap. I know I have been in this situation and before you know it, a temporary role has turned into 2 years sitting at the same desk, and although its fine - the frustration you can feel is real!
Kerry finally made the leap, when she came to a junction in her life. This junction and the desire to write helped her bring Write Junction to life!
Kerry is a copywriter that helps bring your personality to life so your marketing can tell 'YOUR' story not just a story. Thank you Kerry for being our Woman of Steel in May.

Who is looking forward to meeting up this morning at Banyan Newcastle? A new venue for us - I hope their coffee is good!

For those parking in Newcastle - and wondering where to, I'm parking at Eldon Gardens Carpark, then walking passed the Hippy/Goth/Emo Green (or whatever the kids call it today - still the hippy green to me!) which will only take a few minutes.

Our Speaker today is the lovely Kerry Dick of Write Junction. Looking forward to hearing her story.
