As an interior designer, I think one of the best ways to understand hotel design is to actually experience it.
Staying in five-star hotels gives me the chance to see what really works — not just what looks beautiful in photos, but how a room feels, how it functions, how the lighting changes the mood, how practical the layout is, and what details make a guest feel comfortable and cared for.
Good hotel interior design is about creating an experience. It’s the atmosphere, the comfort, the flow, the materials, the small details — all coming together effortlessly.
Every hotel I stay in teaches me something, and that experience always inspires the way I design for hospitality projects.
