Rowton_Vineyard Follow the journey of our 5 acre Shropshire vineyard, with a focus on sustainable & delicious wine!

We are a family run business, lead by twin sisters Zoe & Melissa Evans. We aim to create a range of delicious still and sparkling wines from our 3 different grape varieties. We are passionate about creating a sustainable business and we are mindful of our environmental credentials. As such we have chosen to use biodegradable cardboard grow guards for our vines instead of plastic ones.

It’s been a busy couple of days in the vineyard, we’ve now got all the Solaris in 💪🤩

Big love 💛 to our very lovely team of volunteers for all their efforts - 60 ish people split over 3 sessions to pick 20 bins destined for still wines. There might be a new style in the pipeline too… 👀😉

So lovely to join at last night to launch her solo exhibition in the magnificent Orangery! 🍊

We were pouring our Sparkling Solaris for the guests to sip whilst they enjoyed the art on show🥂🍾

Lucy will be there all weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 10-4pm so pop in and see the exhibition. All work is for sale and there’s also exclusive limited edition signed posters, prints and merch available 🤩✌️ Don’t miss it!

Day 1 Harvest - Done! ✅

The earliest ever starting date 🤯🤪 Beautifully clean bunches made it easy picking, and we managed to dodge the most of the looming thunderstorms 🙌

It’s our last show of the summer this weekend - and our local one! 🍷

We’ll be at Minsterley Show this Saturday (15 August), with the Rowton wine bar. Pouring by the glass all day, and plenty of bottles for you lovely lot to take home with you 😁

So whether you’re coming for the animals, the social, the sunshine or just an excuse for a glass of something good, come and find us in our ringside spot for all the action 🙌🤩

Our lovely volunteers have been helping us to open up the canopy on the eastern side 💪😊

It’s an important part of preparing the vines for harvest, helping to improve the airflow, reduce disease pressure and letting those precious bunches soak up the sunshine ☀️🍇
