Rowton_Vineyard Follow the journey of our 5 acre Shropshire vineyard, with a focus on sustainable & delicious wine!

We are a family run business, lead by twin sisters Zoe & Melissa Evans. We aim to create a range of delicious still and sparkling wines from our 3 different grape varieties. We are passionate about creating a sustainable business and we are mindful of our environmental credentials. As such we have chosen to use biodegradable cardboard grow guards for our vines instead of plastic ones.

🌸 Summer Bouquet Workshop at Rowton 🌸

We’re really excited to be welcoming florist Will Simmons to Rowton Vineyard on Wednesday 18th June at 6pm for a special summer bouquet workshop 💐

Will has been working with flowers for years, starting out helping on his dad’s flower stall before training professionally and going on to work in London creating wedding and event floristry. He now runs and is known for his relaxed, natural style and beautiful seasonal flowers 😍

During the evening, Will will guide you through creating your own hand-tied summer bouquet to take home, sharing tips and techniques along the way. And we’ll make sure you’re refreshed so your creative juices are flowing! 🥂 Whether you’ve done floristry before or just fancy trying something different, it’s a lovely chance to get creative, spend time with friends and enjoy an evening at the vineyard.

That was a hot one! 🥵🔥 2026 ✅

It was fantastic to meet so many new people and introduce them to Rowton and the English Wine Scene. Between us and the other vineyard traders, we really opened people’s eyes to how fast the industry is moving, and what delicious wines we are all producing 🙌🎉 We’re proud to be a part of it, keep up the great work 🥂👏

As always, thank you so much to everyone that popped by for a chat, tried our wine and took some away. We really do appreciate every one of you! ❤️

One other thing… if you’ve got a keen eye you may have spotted that our long-awaited Red and Pink Fizz are back in the fold 🤗🥂 Available now on our website and at all upcoming events and markets 💥

Today we visited today for the AGM! Thank you for hosting us all 🤗 A meeting, lunch and a tour around the vineyard. It feels as if the wind is really getting behind English wine now (and us in this selfie) 💨 🤭

Lovely to catch up with other vineyards in our region and lots to discuss… all very informative 🙌 We particularly enjoyed the update from - lots going on, plenty of ideas and momentum, and delivered with great enthusiasm and energy! Thank you for making the effort to join us 😁⭐

Shout out too to Ian from , and Shelley and Daryl from Claylands Wines for all their efforts leading our region 💪 You’re doing a superb job 👏

We’re escaping Shropshire again next weekend and taking Rowton on tour as we head to at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire! A whole weekend dedicated to celebrating British farming 🙌🎉

We’ll be there from Friday - Sunday showcasing and selling our wines in the Farmers Market area, stall 34 😊 Come and say hi if you’re about! 👋

There’ll be a lot happening; live music, working displays, livestock, machinery and incredible food and drink 😋 Headliners include , , .tebbutt, and others!

It’s going to be a belter of a weekend! 🤩

Well that was a busy weekend! 🤪

Friday night pizza down in the vineyard courtesy of 2 Shires Woodfired Pizzas 🍕😋 Big love to these guys for joining us at short notice, total stars providing us with delicious pizza 🙌 Thanks to all that came down to celebrate 6 years of Rowton with us! 😁🥂❤️

Saturday, Mel headed to MADE IN SHROPSHIRE market in Shrewsbury and Zoe had a couple of tours on in the vineyard. A small, intimate group in the morning, and a 35-strong gang of Nuffield Scholars in the afternoon 🍷

Some sorting out, tidying up, washing up etc etc in between and needless to say we were a little lazy yesterday 😆

A slight change of plan for this Friday folks… Fish & Fizz now comes in the shape of PIZZA 🍕 A sip and a slice, if you will! 😆

Unfortunately Fish Heads have a breakdown and can’t make it but we are super fortunate that are coming down to sling some dough and keep you all satisfied 😋 They’ve gone out of their way to make it happen - TOTAL HEROES!! So please please please come and show them some love 🙏⭐

Also, to let you in on a little secret… we officially turn 6 on Friday! 🎉 🍾🤪 Six years since planting, where has the time gone?!

Bar opens at 5pm, pizza from 6pm 🍕 Come and celebrate with us - you eat pizza and we’ll keep the corks poppin’ 🍾😁❤️
