With support from Shrewsbury Town Council, we have updated and restocked our handy business card-sized leaflets with the Shrewsbury Street Pastors who, on their evening travels around town offering support and advice to people; helping them get home safe, back in touch with their friends and providing things like space blankets to keep warm, water to re-hydrate, lollipops to comfort, or flip flops if they can no longer walk in high heels; hand them out to revelers. Outlining what to do when someone feels that their drink may have been spiked, the card includes a QR code with a link to the venues in town that have the 1st & Bowery drink spiking test strips and reporting technology in place.
