All of the professional bodies agree, supervsion is imperative in motioning ethical and safe practice, for your continued growth and development and for your own wellbeing.

I have some group supervsion cohort starting n the forthcoming months, who offer supervsion in a relaxed and accessible way - and its affordable too!

When managers learn how to use key coaching skills and develop people leadership skills good things start to happen…and I really rather like it when good stuff happens!

UK research consistently shows that effective line management improves engagement, wellbeing and performance (CIPD).

In real life, good line management looks like:
�✔️ better conversations, 2 way feedback and connection
✔️meaningful development discussions and talent management
✔️safety and respect for different ideas
✔️space for innovation and creativity �
and noticeably calmer and more productive teams!

Please don’t call these “soft skills”. They are essential skills and they take learning, practice and effort and they rarely develop by accident.

They are skills that shape how work actually feels and when work feels better, people do their best work.

Supervising coaches, one key thing I've noticed is that not all development comes from doing more; sometimes it comes from stepping back.

Focusing on filling our diaries with clients may feel as if you are developing as a coach, accruing those all important hours for accreditation, but in my experience, the truth growth comes from pausing, reflecting, and taking time to understand, reflect and think deeply.

Supervision is increasingly expected across professional bodies, but beyond that, it’s where meaningful growth happens.

I'm opening up space for a new group of 4 coaches who will meet quarterly in a dedicated supervision group supporting each other to stretch and enhance your practice.

I'm curious, if you are coaching others, where do you;

• Challenge and expand your thinking
• Learn from others and their coaching experiences
• Stay aligned with professional standards

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

The month is focused on recognising the impact our mental health can have on our lives, where we can find support, and to encourage us un talking more freely our mental health and feelings.

Mental health challenges can show up in so many ways. It’s different for everyone. And sometimes it shows up in those you least expect it to.

The ones who always appear solid and strong. The problem solvers. The dependable. The one always smiling and jolly. The one who never asks for help.

⭐️ This month, check in with those around you, even those who appear to be okay…they might be the ones who really need your time, support, empathy and understanding.

Simply asking:,

🤍 ‘How are you doing?’
🤍 ‘It’s tough at the moment isn’t it?’
🤍 ‘How are you really?’

might just be the opening they need. It might be enough to know that someone cares enough to ask.

⭐️ The conversation doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be authentic and true.

So this month, check in on those who are holding it together as no one else might and it could just help someone else feel better.
