The days are getting longer, the birds are back… and suddenly the garden is looking a little “winter-worn.”
If you’re planning a spring tidy-up, here are a few simple jobs that make a big difference:
🌿 Clear the clutter
Broken pots, old garden furniture, fallen branches… anything winter has left behind.
✂️ Cut back & prune
Trim dead stems from perennials and lightly prune shrubs to encourage fresh, healthy growth.
🍂 Rake and refresh
Clear leaves and debris from lawns and borders to let the grass breathe again.
📦 Sort the shed
You know that pile of “I’ll deal with that later” tat? Today might be the day.
🌱 Prep your beds
Turn over the soil, add compost and get everything ready for the planting season ahead.
And if your spring clear-out suddenly turns into a “how on earth did we collect this much stuff?!” situation…
