She’s 34 - that special age where your back goes before you do, your patience is on life support, and you start making noises when you stand up.

If D&G had a health & safety rating, it would be:
“Protected by Llewella’s rage alone.”

Happy Birthday to the lady who can organise a rota, fight a printer, and emotionally damage an engineer all before 9am.

We adore her.
We fear her.
We survive because of her.

😂 WHEN THE JOB REALLY DOESN’T GO TO PLAN…

Every engineer has one of those jobs… and this one certainly delivered! 🤣
He went up into the ceiling to get the job done and somehow managed to lose a shoe along the way! 👟😂

Did we help him? - Absolutely not.

Did we rush to get the camera out and take a photo instead? - Obviously. Priorities. 📸🤣

But jokes aside… despite losing a shoe, getting wedged in the ceiling and having the rest of the team laughing instead of rescuing him, he persevered and didn’t give up until the job was done! 💪🔧

That’s the D&G way…
We may take the mick, but we get the job done! 😂

🍔 BMK – Big Mouth’s Kitchen… aka Stourport’s Burger Royalty 🍔
We’re very lucky to have this absolute gem right here in town and if you haven’t been yet, consider this your sign.

Our office manager Llewella took her husband and family a few weeks ago and said and we quote -
👉 “I’d go as far as to say it was the best burger of my life.”
And trust us… she’s a tough nut to crack. If she’s impressed, you know it’s serious.

But it’s not just the burgers…
🍹 The cocktails? Outrageously good.
Just try keeping Bev out of there on a Saturday evening she’s practically part of the furniture at this point.

BMK is one of those places that makes Stourport feel special: proper local talent, proper good food, and proper good vibes.

🔧 A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A D&G ENGINEER 🔧
Think being a security engineer is all driving around, drinking tea and pressing buttons? 😂

Think again…

☕ 7:00am: Coffee. Essential equipment.
🚐 8:00am: Van loaded and off to the job.
🔧 9:00am: CCTV, alarms, fire alarms… you name it.
🪜 10:30am: Realise the equipment needs to go up there.
🏗️ 10:31am: Get the MEWP out.
😳 10:32am: Question every life decision that led to this moment.
📸 10:33am: Second Engineer takes a photo because apparently this is entertainment. 😂
🔧 10:34am: Crack on and get the job done!

From ground level to several metres in the air, our engineers will go above and beyond to keep our customers safe. 💪

And yes… the view is lovely, but we’re not paying extra for the sightseeing! 🤣

We’re proper lucky to have this beauty spot right on our doorstep and as a local Stourport company, we’ll never stop shouting about it!

A few fun facts about Burlish Meadows that make it even more special:

🦋 Butterfly haven! Surveys show the meadows are now home to species like the Common Blue, Small Copper and even the rare Six‑belted Clearwing moth found in only a handful of places in Worcestershire!

🌳 40 hectares of fresh air. The site has been transformed from a former golf course into a huge meadow full of wildlife, wildflowers and new ponds.
