Today an alarm cried out into the void… and the void was a spider the size of a 50p piece.
The homeowner fled.
The spider fled.
The alarm did not.”

We arrived like heroes in hi‑vis, armed with bravery, tools, and a mild fear of arachnids. Order was restored. The spider has been advised to find alternative accommodation.

🎉 ANOTHER ONE PASSED! 🎉

Huge congratulations to Alan, who last week officially passed his ECS FESS card! 👏👏

Now, anyone who’s ever had the pleasure of dealing with an ECS card will know exactly what we mean when we say… WHAT. A. PAIN. 🤯😂

Forms. Evidence. Training. Assessments. More forms. Questioning your life choices… 😂

But we persevered, jumped through all the hoops and somehow came out the other side! 💪

And Alan? HE’S ONLY GONE AND DONE IT! ✅

Well done mate another qualification under the belt and another reason for us to tell everyone how clever our engineers are! 😜

📞⚡ STOURPORT PHONE CHAOS REPORT ⚡📞

If you tried calling us this morning and the phone line acted like it had nipped off to Greggs for a sausage roll… yeah… same.
Stourport technology really said: “Not today, pal.”

BUT .. we’ve poked it, rebooted it, threatened it with a trip down the basins and it should be behaving now.
Sorry if you had any trouble getting through this morning! Give us another ring we’re here, we’re ready, and we’ve had enough caffeine to deal with anything at this point ☕🔧

D&G: somewhere in the middle, holding it all together with cable ties and optimism.

🚨 ATTENTION PARENTS… YOUR SENTENCE IS ALMOST OVER. 🚨

The first week of September is coming… and frankly, it’s about blooming time. 😂

After 6 weeks of:

“MUUUUM!”
“DAAAAD!”
“I’M BORED!”
“I’M HUNGRY!”
“WHAT ARE WE DOING TODAY?”
“CAN I HAVE SOME MONEY?”
“WHY CAN’T I HAVE IT?”
“HE’S LOOKING AT ME!” 😩

…it’s nearly time to hand them back to the professionals. 🎒🤣

School is basically free childcare with homework. And we, as parents, are not ashamed to say…

☕ The coffee will be HOT.
🚽 The toilet will be QUIET.
📺 The TV remote will be OURS.
🍫 The snacks will actually survive longer than 4 minutes.
😴 And there may even be a suspicious amount of peace and quiet.

So, parents…

DO NOT FEEL GUILTY.

When that school gate closes behind them, you are allowed to walk away smiling. 😈😂

Six weeks of “Mum, I’m bored” deserves at least six hours of uninterrupted silence.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL = BACK TO SANITY. 🎒

Good luck to the teachers though… they're the ones who deserve a medal. 🫡😂
