Factory finish on a fully renovated home. 👌
People often think achieving a factory finish is all about spraying, but the reality is the preparation is just as important as the application.
This property had undergone a full renovation, keeping only a few original features like some of the doors and the staircase. Everything else was newly plastered walls and ceilings, new plaster coving, and newly fitted panelling, skirts, window cills & door frames.
For this project, we spray finished all the skirtings, architraves, staircase, window cills and coving, along with every ceiling. Spraying gives these surfaces an incredibly smooth, uniform finish that really elevates the overall look.
The walls and oak doors were then finished using traditional brush and roller techniques. While spraying walls has its place, brush and roller remains an excellent choice for freshly plastered walls & varnishing oak giving a consistent, high-quality finish when applied correctly.
Every project is different, and knowing when to spray and when to use traditional methods is what helps deliver the best possible result.
The end result? Crisp ceilings, flawless woodwork and beautifully finished walls that all work together to create that premium, factory finished look.
Preparation. Process. Attention to detail. That’s what makes the difference.
