I talked myself out of a job last week (again 🫣😅).

Someone came to me wanting help with their CRM, task management, booking systems, Microsoft 365 and website backend.

Could I do it? Yep.

But the more we talked, the more I realised they’d be better off with someone who specialises in systems.

So instead of taking the work, I sent them to my friend Charlotte at Charlotte Goss - Business + Systems Strategist | Kajabi & Moxie .

Possibly not the greatest sales technique. 😂

But I’d rather point someone towards the right person than take their money just because I can do something.

Sometimes being useful is knowing when someone else can do it better.

Well, this is embarrassing… 😂

I discovered yesterday that my own discovery-call booking form didn’t actually ask people what they wanted help with.

Which, considering I spend an unreasonable amount of time making other people’s admin work properly, isn’t exactly my finest moment.

While fixing it, I also found a broken link on my website. 🫣 Whoops 😅

All fixed now.

So I guess, occasionally we should use our own websites like a customer would (especially after making “improvements”). 😅

Someone asked how I get my videos looking sharp, so here are a few things I actually do.📱

From cleaning the lens and filming in 4K to lighting, editing and… occasionally cheating with a different camera. 😂

Remember the Patty Pan I declared dead? Yeah… about that. 😂🌱

All are now ready to be potted on, including our very late arrival.

The plan is two in the mahoosive pot and two off to Mrs Radmin’s greenhouse… but maybe hree would fit just fine. 😂

So three are staying, one is moving out, and we’ve had a quick check on Sergio the spinach and Oswald the oregano too.

🚨 EMERGENCY POT ON 🚨

One of the patty pans has clearly decided it’s the overachiever of the group, so while the others are still finding their feet, this one needed an upgrade. 😂🌱

One borrowed pot later, we have officially completed our first emergency repot.

Featuring a very vocal Weymouth seagull, a quick oregano inspection and a spinach check before we wrap up today’s plant dad duties.

Come back for more questionable gardening decisions. 😂

I was literally just trying to make a bagel… and then I spotted GREEN. 🌱😂

Four days after planting and apparently we’ve actually managed to grow something.

The patty pans are making an appearance, the oregano has little green shoots and even Sergio the spinach is joining in. 👀

I know this is quite literally how growing things works, but still…

WOW. WE DID IT. WE GREW SOMETHING. 😂🌱

The Plant Dad era is officially underway.
